Xia Xin and Jing Mo wore identical furrowed brows; it was obvious that she didn't want to agree. Not one to let her refuse, Lu Shi got up, intending to walk over to her. She interjected, "I don't have the time, sorry."
"We could use the time when we're filming the show to have a quick lesson," Lu Shi retorted.
"Maybe you don't get it, but what I mean is that I'm not interested," Xia Xin said, her gaze indifferent as it met Lu Shi's.
Lu Shi paused mid-step, his face darkening. As the son of a wealthy family, he was used to getting what he wanted, both in the entertainment industry and at home. No one had ever refused him like this before. Well, perhaps someone had—but no more than once. Those women knew that he was impatient, or perhaps they were just trying to catch his attention.
Undeterred, Lu Shi asked again, "Ignoring me, are you? Is Miss Xia harboring such malice towards me upon our first meeting?"
