Xu Ping shot her an exasperated glance. "All you ever think about is the mission. Haven't you considered that we could die if we follow? Forget it, there's no talking sense into you. If you want to tail her, go ahead. I'm going back."
Without waiting for her response, Xu Ping turned and left, leaving Xu An in a quandary. She watched his retreating figure, then glanced toward Xia Xin, who was distancing herself farther and farther away. Gritting her teeth, Xu An made her choice and tried to keep up with Xia Xin.
But could Xu An with two legs ever catch up to a lion's four? Ultimately, Xu An could only watch in despair as Xia Xin and the lions vanished into the distance.
