In the dimly lit dining room, Xia Xin remembered that these variety shows usually have at least three guests. She continued her inquiry, "Is it just the two of us?"
Sun Hu coughed discreetly, covering his mouth, then looked at Jing Mo with great interest.
Though Jing Mo's face was impassive as he focused on his breakfast, Sun Hu noticed that he had slowed his movements. He knew that Jing Mo was acting aloof when, in reality, he was very interested in who the other guests might be.
Sun Hu gestured towards Jing Mo and said, "Just the one next to you."
A faint but satisfied smile crossed Jing Mo's face. Although subtle, Sun Hu caught it and knew Jing Mo was secretly pleased.
Irritated, Xia Xin pouted, "Why didn't you say so as soon as you walked in? What's with all the buildup?"
Sun Hu thought, 'How else would I see someone so aloof get nervous?'
