On the day the filming wrapped, Xia Xin sent Chen Li a text inviting him to the set. She had two motives: one, to support his work, and two, to take the opportunity to ask him what he'd found out about Jing Mo.
True to his word, Chen Li arrived, bringing with him a bouquet of lilies for Xia Xin.
Clutching the flowers, Xia Xin teased Chen Li, "You have a unique way of giving flowers. Why lilies?"
A little shy, Chen Li replied, "I think you're as pure as a lily, so I chose this flower for you. If you don't like it, I can always pick something else."
"I love them," Xia Xin said with a smile. "Thank you for the flowers."
After the wrap-up scenes were shot, Mo Shu initially wanted to have a chat with Xia Xin. But by the time he had finished with the reporters and went to look for her, she had already left the set with Chen Li.
