A few moments earlier and immediately after arriving home that evening, Jorge ascended the stairs two at a time to his study on the third floor.
As soon as he entered the place, he found a medium-sized envelope on his table, as he had expected, and his eyes lit up. In fact, like he usually did, Mr Benny could have grabbed it for him, but Jorge looked excited enough to run that small errand on his own.
He grabbed it and asked, "Where is Collin?"
Mr Benny, his butler, was right behind him, but before he could answer the question asked, Jorge, added, "Never mind, where is my wife?"
"They should be in the receiving area, on the ground floor Master Trimshaw,"
Jorge was out and back down the stairs before all the words left Mr Benny's lips. Jorge could not wait for Mirabel and Flora to finish their alone time as he had initially decided to do because he felt that what he had in hand was much more important than whatever they were talking about.
