Flora glanced at the door and then at Thalia, noting her apparent distress, "I know I told you to speak with him, but it should be on your own time. If you're not ready now, I can take care of it. I will send him away with an excuse if you want me to do so, okay?"
Thalia drew in a shuddering breath as the knocking continued getting more frantic with each passing second.
"I-t's okay. I should probably get this over and done with. Telling him today or tomorrow will not change his reaction or response."
Flora nodded, gave Thalia a brief hug, and headed for the door.
"Hello, Cha-"
"Is Thalia here? Why isn't she answering my call? Is she okay? I mean-"
"Hang on, lover boy, one question at a time," Flora held up her palm to him as she leaned against the doorway casually, unlike the state of her mind at that moment.
