After this, the time flew by in a blur as the girls became swamped with part-time work and also academic work. Departmental tasks had begun for their second semester in their second year, and the girls were preparing for a mini project in their respective classes, so they were very busy in the passing weeks. For Fashion and Décor Institute students, hands-on activities were a core part of their curriculum at Milas University, especially at the start of the second year.
About six weeks later, and after a particularly tiring day, the girls sat on the floor of their room, completing their 'dress and accessory project'. This was the task for the week from one of their respective lectures, and they wanted to finish it as quickly as possible to have some downtime before the next one was sprung up on them. This was because they would be allocated another academic sub-project for the following week, as had been done over the years by their senior colleagues.
