Against his better judgement, Lucien decided to peek at the scene inside the room once more. After all, where else was he supposed to go? He wasn't sure which room might be Blaise's, and a mistake could have severe consequences.
First, he took a good look at the other man, a stranger whose appearance did little to inspire attraction, with fleshy, rounded features and a deathly complexion. Greasy, unkempt hair framed his face, the strands hanging limply over his forehead, while his eyes, cold and devoid of warmth, gleamed with a predatory glint.
The stranger's lips curled into a twisted smile, revealing yellowed fangs that added to the disconcerting element to his appearance. He leaned in closer to Blaise, his stout gray fingers grazing Blaise's delicate skin. Lucien felt disgusted by all of it.
