Lucien stood there, stunned by the sight of Blaise outside his window. Without hesitation, he quickly unlocked the window and helped Blaise through, pulling him into the safety of his room. As he held Blaise in his arms, relief washed over him. "I'm so glad you're safe," Lucien whispered. For a moment he just held him tight, unwilling to let him go again.
Taking a step back, Lucien's eyes scanned Blaise's appearance, noting the weight loss and pallor that marked his face. He looked beautiful, but he didn't look healthy. For a few minutes he just stared at him, unsure of what to say.
Blaise broke the silence, his voice soft. "I'm sorry I came back. I know in my letter I said I wouldn't, but I couldn't forget all the kindness you showed me," he admitted, his eyes searching Lucien's face for reassurance. "I had to see you again, but if it's a problem, I can go back. I don't want to cause any trouble."
