She suddenly felt super sick, she ran to the bathroom and threw up. Her period was late and she began freaking out. She couldn't be pregnant before her wedding, she had it all planned out. She rushed to the nearest Walmart and bought pregnancy tests. She took it once she got home and it confirmed her suspicion. She was pregnant, she had all types of mixed feelings, and she hadn't thought much about motherhood. She wasn't ready to share this news with anyone, suddenly she heard voices.
"Mortala, Mortala…"
"What the hell?"
She walked out of her bathroom into her bedroom, there was no one there.
She heard the voice again, this time it was loud and echoed throughout her entire apartment.
She grabbed her keys and ran out of the house. She got in her car and drove, she felt like she was losing her mind. The voice was so loud and strong but there was no one. She thought the madness was behind her, it had been months since she heard voices. She was scared and paranoid, now wasn't the time, her life was going so well she didn't need this extra issue.
She remembered the psychic she had met months ago. She had the lady's card somewhere in her bag, she searched through it then found it, she called the number. The psychic told her to go home and that she was on her way. Delilah turned back home and waited for the psychic in the living room.
After a while there was a knock on her door, she went and opened it, it was the psychic she met months ago, she carried a small bag.
"Come in please."
She closed the door behind her.
"Show me where you hear the voices."
It's always in my bedroom, most times my bathroom. It has been months since I heard the voice but today it came back, stronger than ever." explained Delilah as she showed the way into her room.
The psychic took in a deep breath and then let out a cold breath through her mouth.
"This is its strong point alright."
She placed the bag she carried on Delilah's bed and opened it. Delilah watched attentively.
"There is very strong magic at work here."
She brought out stones with strange symbols etched on them.
"These are runes, they help me focus my powers. Be quiet so I can concentrate." The psychic closed her eyes and began muttering words under her breath. This went on for five minutes, then she opened her eyes and went into Delilah's bathroom.
She came out; suddenly she let out an ungodly shriek and fell to the floor, frightened Delilah screamed.
"Ma'am are you okay?' she asked the psychic; she was scared to go close to the woman.
The psychic began to convulse, her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she began chanting.
"What the fuck?" Delilah was freaking out.
The psychic stopped and she went back to normal, her breathing intensified.
"I told you to be quiet," said the psychic as she got up from the floor."
"I'm sorry but you kind of went really weird for a second there."
The psychic put her runes back in her bag and closed it, she made her way back to the living room, Delilah followed behind her.
"Are you okay? Do you need something to drink or eat." Delilah was super weirded out but didn't want to make the woman uncomfortable.
"Water will be fine, thank you. The psychic sat on the couch. Delilah returned from the kitchen with a glass of water. She gave it to the psychic and she drank it.
She handed the glass back to Delilah.
Delilah sat next to her; "What did you find out?"
"Young lady, you are tangled up in really powerful magic, the kind of magic which hasn't existed on earth for a very long time."
"How is that possible? I have never messed with magic or anything like that before."
"Then how do you explain this intense supernatural hotspot in your bedroom and bathroom?"
"Hotspot? Is that why you fainted?"
"While researching I was overcome and blocked. Whatever it is you are tangled up with is ancient, very powerful."
The psychic closed her eyes once again, she placed her hand on Delilah's forehead. Delilah was quiet and freaking out.
She opened her eyes, "show me your back."
Delilah got up and took off her shirt, she turned around and showed the psychic.
"Wow, how did you get that?"
"I don't remember, I just woke up one morning and it was there."
The psychic looked intensely at Delilah,
