"What!" Kathleen's shrill voice broke out in the quiet hospital ward.
She couldn't believe what she just heard Shawn say. Or was she gradually losing her hearing?
"You can't be serious, right?"She let out a doubtful laugh.
"I've never been more serious," Shawn replied, looking as convincing as possible.
"Can you repeat what you just said? Wait. Let me say it to be sure I heard you correctly."
"You want to recuperate at Fairview Villa?" She asked disbelievingly and to her greatest surprise, Shawn's head went up and down in a nod.
'This must be the joke of the century.'
She raised her hands to touch Shawn's forehead and a frown appeared on her flawless face. 'He doesn't have a fever that would have made him talk nonsense so he is certainly okay.'
She retrieved her hand from his forehead and crossed it over her chest as she starred at Shawn in disbelief.
"Why Fairview Villa if I may ask?"
