"We will be waiting for your call then, and don't forget to fulfill your promise," Elvis instructed before ending the call.
"Are you sure daddy is alright, brother?" Eleanor couldn't help but feel that something was off.
"What could possibly go wrong with him? He should be fine, I guess. He's just probably busy with work. But I'm sure he will call us when he is less busy."
"Really?"
"Of course," he assured. He didn't want his sister to dwell on the matter for long, if not, the next thing that might come to her mind was if their father doesn't love them enough and has abandoned them so soon.
"What do we do now, brother?"
"Wait."
"What did you say?"
"I mean all we should do now is wait for daddy to call us," Elvis explained.
