"That is not what we are talking about."
Shawn chuckled when Elvis broke the gaze and looked away. He could tell that the little guy was obviously happy to see him but didn't want to show it.
He signaled for everyone to excuse them and the head teacher had no choice but to vacate her office for the queer but breathtaking little family to have some time together.
"Let's assume she is not aware of my coming, are you going to tell on me?" Shawn asked Elvis as he led the two children to sit with him on the couch in the head teacher's office.
"It is ungentlemanly to tell on someone," Elvis spat out with disdain.
Shawn's lips spasmed in a smile. "I guess I can count on this gentleman then," Shawn said, relaxing a bit.
The more he interacted with his children the more he felt blessed. They were wiser than most children their age, making it easier for him to interact with them.
