That night, Steffan was already in his pajamas and was about to retire to bed, when he heard a knock on the door.
Wondering who could be knocking at this time, he went to the door and was surprised to see his sister in-law at the door through the peephole.
"It's you, Candace," he said as he opened the door slightly.
"Why are you not yet in bed?" Worry lines appeared between his brow, she was fagged out but still found time to come to him.
"To be sincere, I'm dead tired," she stretched her dainty arms and yawned, " but there is something I need to discuss with you."
"It's quite late, can't it wait till tomorrow? It's been a hectic day for you and you need to rest."
"No. I've been thinking about this matter all day and won't be able to sleep with it on my mind."
Steffan saw that the situation was serious and opened the door wider to give her access. "Do come in then."
