"No, I'm not." Kathleen interrupted abruptly before her father could finish what he had to say.
"I stopped loving him the day he gave up on our marriage." Kathleen lowered her head to hide the emotions in her eyes.
The corners of Director Wyatt's mouth curled up slightly.
"But you have been rejecting so many suitors that have come to ask for your hand in marriage and that can only mean you have not been able to move on emotionally."
"Rejecting those suitors had nothing to do with whether I have moved on from loving him or not."
She pouted and clarified. "I needed to concentrate on strengthening myself and had no time for less important things."
