Shawn's eyes narrowed as he recalled something, "You said you don't know her name. Does it mean you haven't spoken to her yet."
"I have but..," Steffan inhaled a deep breath and blew it out slowly, "she hasn't given me the green light. I'm afraid she sees me as a joke and is not the least affected by my charm."
Shawn's frown deepened, "Hold on, don't tell me you are feeling inferior to a mere woman."
If it were someone else he would have considered it, but Steffan was among the five most sought after bachelors in Baltimore.
"You are everything a woman would want for a man in terms of looks. You're a renowned doctor, for goodness sake, one of the best the country has ever produced. Not only that, but your family background is there even if you don't have to rely on the other two."
