Kathleen got wheeled into the theater, the moment they arrived at the hospital.
Elizabeth left the dressing room with her legs bandaged as soon as the nurses were done with her. Although she was asked to rest in bed, she insisted on waiting by the theater door where Kathleen was taken.
She leaned against the wall, constantly lifting her head to see if the red light on the door of the theater had gone off.
"Please Lord, if you're up there, save Kathleen and the baby. I've not asked anything from you these past years, but if you can do this, I'll forever be grateful to you," she prayed.
"Take a seat Madam and have faith, you are already looking so pale and need to take it easy. I believe your daughter and her baby will be fine," Ben comforted Elizabeth who had not stopped pacing back and forth ever since she came out of the dressing room.
