Martin heard it and knew he was right; it was just the day after the conflict with Justin Bieber and Ryan Reynolds.
Scarlett, ever the ex-wife, specifically warned Martin, "Ryan Reynolds is very vengeful and can be very patient. He'll do anything to achieve his goals, and don't underestimate him just because he's a second-tier star."
Martin listened and simply asked, "What's Ryan Reynolds up to recently?"
Scarlett replied, "He's working on a movie, a character from the X-Men. I heard he's faced setbacks at 20th Century Fox repeatedly but still hasn't given up. Seems like he's preparing a party to ingratiate himself with the executives at Fox."
Martin took note and said, "Deadpool, right? I remember he played that role in Wolverine."
"Probably." Scarlett winked at Martin, "If you go after him, let me know. I'd love to see him in trouble."
Martin replied, "Don't drag me into your ex-marital disputes."
Scarlett adjusted her blonde hair and said, "You're no fun..."
