In the past, no news was good news.
But today his mind was uneasy, and he took out his phone to dial Andre's number.

Lynch said, "Good, I'll be there shortly."
He hung up the phone, took out the SIM card, cut it up, and flushed it down the toilet, then took out another phone to call a friend at the embassy.
Just now, Andre had warned him with a coded message.
Warehouse number one meant there had been an unexpected development.
Lynch asked a couple of questions then took out another phone and texted, "Evacuate immediately!"
After sending the message, he disposed of the SIM card in the same manner.
His friend from the embassy called, "There are a few cars going to the consulate in Lviv this morning, you could hitch a ride with them."
