'What the hell just happened, this must have been an accident how could I have lost to a mortal with no cultivation!' Young Master Ling was so angry that he couldn't think. He never would guess that he lost because to Ye Yang he was as insignificant as an ant.
"You are going against my Ling Family! I don't think you can bear it!" Young Master Ling roared, he was very angry. This mortal dared to go against the Ling family?
"Going against your small Ling family, I don't even need to move from this spot" Ye Yang smiled lightly, he was curious where this was going.
"You fool! How dare you go against my master!" The ring could not take it anymore and started berating the Young Master.
"Oh? Is this ring a treasure with spiritual consciousness?" Young Master Ling was shocked! A weapon with spiritual consciousness was as rare in the Immortal Continent as True-Gods! Only 5 such weapons existed in the continent!
"This ring is quite good, I shall take this ring for my Ling family!" Young Master Ling was very excited, he had found such a good opportunity for his Ling family.
"Spiritual Consciousness? For your Ling family? How dare a mere 6th layer of the Qi Gathering realm cultivator say such things! Watch this ring teach you your place!" The ring roared very loudly, and a wave of energy sent Young Master Ling flying again!
"Don't kill him yet, I want to see where goes." Ye Yang said through his spiritual consciousness
"Yes, Master!" The ring would not kill this fool, he could easily crush him without even moving anyway.
"Hand over your ring obediently or else you will have to face my Ling family!" The Young Master was very confidant that with his family he could get anything he wanted.
"I refuse." Ye Yang stated simply. This enraged Young Master Ling and he snapped.
"Fine! Just you wait! I've broken my Ling family's token and soon the elders of my family will arrive!" Shouted the Young Master.
"Then I'll wait obediently." Ye Yang smiled, he didn't expect that he could have some fun today. After spending millions of years alone he had been missing many things that an ordinary life could give.
Ling Family's Palace, Tiger City
"Patriarch! Young Master Ling's token has been broken, we must go and save him!" An elder in a gray robe was kneeling respectfully towards an old man who gave off a terrifying aura.
"It seems our young master has gotten into trouble, we must save him in order for our plan to continue." The old man sighed, he had been given a mission by the higher ups and their young master must stay alive if they wanted to complete it.
"Let's go! I will come help you solve this quickly, we mustn't have any mishaps before we succeed!" The Patriarch stood up and his aura leaked out.
5th Layer of the Foudation Establishment realm! This cultivation was quite high! The Elders in the room shuddered while bowing respectfully.
"Long live the Patriarch!" The elders shouted, and they left the Ling Family Palace.
Entrance Ceremony, Tiger City
"Be obedient and hand over the ring, before my Ling Family arrives! I can promise you that if you hand over the ring and kneel here for 3 nights the Ling Family will spare your life!" The Young Master sneered, he had a greedy look on his face.
"This fool never seems to learn, he is like a cockroach that never dies." Ye Yang sighed, young people are too arrogant.
"Arrogant!" The Young Master was very angry, but he held back because he felt that there was something wrong with this mortal. He decided he would wait until the elders of his family arrived.
After waiting for a minute suddenly the crowd felt a pressure that made them fall to their knees. They felt as though a mountain had been placed on their backs.
"What is this strong pressure!"
"It's too much!"
The crowd was terrified and some had already fainted under the pressure.
Suddenly 6 people appeared in the air. 5 people surrounded an old man in a gray robe, it was obvious this mountainous pressure was coming off of him.
"Greetings Patriarch!" Young Master Ling bowed respectfully, and smiled inwardly because he knew that the Patriarch was here to put this mortal in his place.
"Little Xu Ling, what is going on here?" The Patriarch narrowed his eyes while looking at their young master. He was confused at the scene, it seemed as though there was a fight but he could not find any cultivators near the area.
"Patriarch! This mortal has shown no respect towards our Ling Family! He also has a ring with spiritual consciousness! We need to take it for the Ling Family's success! With the ring we can rule the Continent!" The Young Master excitedly told the Patriarch.
'Spiritual consciousness?' The Patriarch was shocked! How many weapons had spiritual consciousness on this continent? This news was very shocking, but the Patriarch was a bit hesistent to interfere. 'This guy seems to just be a mortal, but he has a ring with spiritual consciousness? Does he have some sort of large backing?' But, as a Foundation Establishment expert he was quite confident he could beat any backing.
"You, mortal! Hand over the ring and this Patriarch will show you face and let you live!"
"Give me face? Your Ling Family has no right to be in my presence." Ye Yang was started to get a little annoyed. He was expecting at least a Golden-Core cultivator to show up, but who would have guessed that a puny Foundation Establishment cultivator would be the "great" backing of the kid in front of him.
"Ignorant!" The Elders surrounding the Patriarch were enraged at the attitude of this mortal, how dare he say such things to their Patriarch!
"Patriarch please allow me to take action!" An elder bowed respectfully towards the Patriarch.
"Elder Luo you are an expert in the 9th layer of the Qi Gathering realm, isn't it bullying for you to take care of this mortal?"
"No! Patriarch this mortal must be taught his place for disrespecting you and our Ling Family!"
"Alright, but Elder Luo do not destroy him, I still want the ring on his hand!"
"Yes, Patriarch!" Elder Luo stepped forward and his 9th layer Qi Gathering aura spread out causing the surrounding city folk to once again fall to their knees. Surprisingly the youth in front of him seemed to not be affected by this pressure, but Elder Luo assumed that he must be faking it.
"Mortal you are going to regret going against our Ling Family!" Elder Luo shouted and his sword swung towards Ye Yang. Ye Yang watched the elder quietly with a smirk on his face.
"Ling Family Secret Arts! One Hundred Sword Arts!" Shouted Elder Luo, and suddenly one hundred swords appeared in the sky causing everyone to shiver with fear.
This sword art was the Ling Family's special sword art, this was the secret technique that allowed them to stay in power as one of the great family's of Tiger City.
"That's it?" Ye Yang was stunned, he didn't expect that the Elder was so weak. He stared at the nearing swords and as soon as they were within 10 feet of him they disappeared.
"How is this possible!" Elder Luo was shocked! How could this mortal defend against their Ling Family's secret art? This was a very strong sword technique, a middle-Earth grade sword technique!
"Elder Luo return to me now!" The Patriarch was surprised and realized the youth had a secret he couldn't see. The Patriarch was confused and didn't want the Elders of his family to sustain many injuries. The Patriarch stepped forward.
"This mortal has been too arrogant towards our Ling Family! It's time to end this!" The Ling Family Patriarch said this and his aura rised greatly. But suddenly, the sky darkened and thundered clapped as a deafening voice shouted.
"LING FAMILY PATRIARCH STOP WHERE YOU ARE!"
