Chapter 5 - The Past Always Haunts you

[Scene: Glitch's family home. The dining table is set for a family dinner. Glitch is seated with his mother, his younger sister, and his father. Laughter and conversation fill the air as they enjoy their meal together. However, a sense of unease lingers beneath the surface.]

Glitch's Mother: [Smiling] "Glitch, tell us about your work. How's Black Watch treating you?"

Glitch: [Forcefully smiling] "It's... it's fine, Mom. Just another day at the office."

Glitch's Sister: [Curiously] "But Glitch, you used to be so passionate about your job. What happened? Why did you let us die?"

Glitch's Father: [Serious tone] "Yes, Glitch, we trusted you to protect us. Why did you fail?"

Glitch's Mother: [Her voice trembling] "Why, Glitch? Why did you let us down when we needed you the most?"

[Glitch's heart pounds in his chest as he looks at his family, their accusing eyes filled with hurt and disappointment. The room starts to spin, and he feels overwhelmed by guilt and confusion.]

Glitch: [Panicking] "No, that's not... I tried... I couldn't save you... I'm sorry!"

[Scene: The dimly lit room with Glitch still strapped to the metal chair. Glitch's breathing is heavy as he wakes up from the haunting family dinner nightmare. There is no one else in the room. The door creaks open, and Agent 35 enters, carrying a tray of food and a glass of water. Their presence exudes a sense of cold detachment.]

Agent 35: [Smirking] "Having good dreams, Glitch?"

Glitch: [Grimacing] "More like nightmares."

Agent 35 places the tray of food and the glass of water on a nearby table and walks closer to Glitch, their eyes locked in a tense stare.

Agent 35: "Nightmares can be quite revealing, don't you think? They show us the deepest fears and regrets that we try to bury."

Glitch: [Through gritted teeth] "You know nothing about me or my past."

Agent 35: [Leaning in, their voice low and filled with menace] "Oh, but I know more than you think, Glitch. I know the weight of your guilt, the burden you carry for the loss of your family and your friend, Nastor."

Glitch's eyes widen with a mix of surprise and anger.

Glitch: "What do you know about Nastor?"

Agent 35: [Chuckling darkly] "I know that he was your closest ally, your mentor. And I know that he's no longer here because of you."

Glitch's body tenses as the words strike a nerve. He struggles against the restraints, desperate to break free.

Glitch: "You're twisting the truth. Nastor's death is on you "

Agent 35: [Mockingly] "Ah, the blame game. So predictable. But deep down, you know the truth, don't you? You failed him."

Glitch's eyes narrow, a mixture of anger and determination burning within them.

Glitch: "I will make you pay for what you've done."

Agent 35: [Smirking] "We'll see about that, Glitch. But first, let's see how hungry you are."

Agent 35 picks up the tray of food and approaches Glitch, holding it just out of reach. Glitch glares at them, his stomach growling despite his defiance.

Glitch: "I won't give you the satisfaction."

Agent 35: [Leaning in closer] "Oh, I think you will, Glitch. Hunger has a way of breaking even the strongest wills."

Glitch's resolve wavers for a moment as his hunger intensifies. Finally, he reluctantly gives in, extending his bound hands towards the tray of food.

Glitch: [Defiantly] "This isn't over. I will get my revange"

Agent 35: [Smirking] "We'll see, Glitch. We'll see."

As Glitch begins to eat, Agent 35 watches him with a calculating gaze, knowing that their psychological battle is far from over. The room fills with an unsettling silence, setting the stage for the next twist in their deadly game.
