Zachery had made the other group agree to escort him until he was inside the castle after some banter.
Zachery had no intention of breaking the bargain, but he refused to reveal the true technique. As previously said, this technique requires a well-balanced body and a powerful soul.
A real aura is also required for this technique to work. If they didn't have the three conditions, the technique wouldn't fall apart, but it wouldn't be as successful as Zachery was currently utilizing.
So, Zachery had no qualms about selling the technique at a hefty price.
Zachery and his men went forward, but this time with more protection following them until they arrived at the castle. It was incredible to see such experts work with such mechanical precision.
It seems that the person in charge of these many professional troops took his task to escort them to the castle seriously.
Because no one seemed to be able to stop their army from moving. The black-cloaked experts annihilated every army that came at them before they realized what struck them.
Zachery sighed as he considered what might happen in the future. Zachery and the man behind the scenes would almost certainly clash. Because Zachery truly desired control over the entire globe of Etheria in order to create the groundwork for his own territory on the Axis.
And it was most likely obvious that this individual desired something similar to that, thus a conflict of interest was unavoidable. But he hoped that whoever was working behind the scenes had no thirst for power.
But that was just wishful thinking on his part. There would never be two lions in the same forest. Such a phenomena could not possibly exist.
Zachery rushed forward and observed Alexander and his soldiers fighting and driving Primerian warriors out of his stronghold with a swift and fierce counterattack.
Zachery had taught Alexander and Ragnar the technique of man-spirit union because he would most likely not be with them at all times. When that scenario happened, Alexander and Ragnar would be on their own to deal with it.
As a result, he would do everything in his power to make both of them strong and capable. 'I feel like I've become their father...' Zachery shook his head as he rushed forward with zeal. His scheme was nearing its completion.
But Zachery had no idea that in both Alexander and Ragnar's eyes, even though he had not become a father figure, he had come to someone close to that in their hearts whom they both admired with newfound zeal.
Alexander's father suffered internal injuries, resulting in Alexadner's childhood without a parent. His mother was present, and he loved her; even his father's concubines loved and supported Alexander wholeheartedly.
But he had never met a person he admired from the bottom of his heart. He didn't have someone in his life to look up to.
But that all changed when Zachery entered his life.
This was especially true of Ragnar. Because he had a father figure who wanted to kill him since the day he was born. He didn't have somebody to look up to.
While Zachery prayed that his contractors and his relationship would not fall apart. In their hearts, Zachery was gradually but steadily becoming someone who would be difficult to replace.
It was typical because these were teenagers. It was natural for them to lean on someone who had willingly rescued them from their darkest hours and transformed them into the envy of everyone present.
Zachery had specifically stated that he was not a deity but a higher being with the ability to go from world to world. If they thought that he was a diety, they'd undoubtedly give him their faith, and Zachery's route to Godhood would begin.
But Zachery had no desire to be God. It was more of a bother than a benefit for Zachery. If he pursued the route to Godhood, he would be unable to fully utilize his abilities.
Because Godhood was always based on faith energy, and faith energy comes from believers. If they chose not to believe in their God just because they believed that God had changed, the said God would most likely lose the majority of his powers.
And Zachery couldn't even comprehend such power, let alone walk in it.
Ragnar and Alexander exchanged glances for a split second, and their eyes appeared to tell a lot. Ragnar noted that many of the black-clad individuals were retreating after ensuring that no one would hurt their troops.
Alexander and his commanders led their troops into the fortress and provided cover for the Warkarians. Zachery ensured that Astrid was admitted to the hospital camp and that the medics did not discriminate against the Warkarian warriors.
It would be a shame if he brought Astrid here just for her to die due to some professionals failing to do their jobs properly. After making certain that he and his soldiers were safe and secure. Ragnar collapsed on the ground, attracting a swarm of nurses who focused their attention on Ragnar's body to help him onto the bed.
Zachery squinted again as he approached Alexander's body. The medical camp was a complete disaster. As he opened his eyes to Alexander's body, he thought.
The medical camp lacked supplies and there was no apparent hierarchy.
There wasn't even a machinerary camp in Leon's legion. It was all supply and military camps. This would change when he had a break from these b*tches.
Zacher drew his black sword, which had turned crimson. If Alexander was not gifted in the road of Combat spirit, he was gifted in the path of the sword.
Zachery closed him as he reworked the final part of his plan. He nodded and affirmed that he was well-protected by his commanders. He closed his eyes once more as he offed the lion spirit and fully blended with Alexander's soul.
Zachery sorted through all of Alexander's meaningless memories and concentrated on all of Alexander's sword-related memories. Then he combined it with all of his previous sword training. Suddenly, the golden aura that seemed to envelop him became crisp and implacable.
[Host is awakening Sword Combat Spirit...]
[Primordial Level Sword Combat Spirit has successfully born inside Host's body...]
Zachery's body was wrapped in an additional white and extremely sharp aura that had the desire to slash apart anything in its path.
Those opposed to Alexander, on the other hand, smiled, while those who cared about him felt concerned.
Because there was a law that no one could handle two combat spirits at the same time, and anyone who ventured to would only have one outcome, death.
