"Leon is fucking your mum," Zachery stated sarcastically.
"W-What?" Amy yelled in a frantic tone, then realised where they were and sat down quickly as she restored her posture. But her deadly gaze at Leon made her position obvious.
"As I mentioned, Leon is messing around with your mum," Zachery shrugged as he reclined against the sofa. He was watching the event develop.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Leon exclaimed panickedly.
'Dude, the terrified tone handed you away.' Zachery muttered to himself while suppressing a giggle.
"Y-Yeah, w-what the hell are you saying," Amy said in a flustered tone as she squinted her eyes at Zachery.
"Look at his phone. You will find out the rest." Zachery said as his lips curved slightly upward awaiting the drama that was going to come.
Zachery leaned back into the sofa to get himself comfortable.
He was going to like what was coming next.
Amy got silent all of a sudden. Like eerie silence. Leon had a calm expression on the exterior. But Zachery being Leon's 'best friend' for years wasn't for anything. He knew that turmoil was going through inside his mind.
And the thing how he knew about Leon and his mom... Actually, it was a bluff. It was more of an intuition than a bluff.
Males like Leon who consider themselves 'Alpha' will never be satisfied with monogamy. They will always try to assert their dominance elsewhere. That's how primitive humans were.
He learned it at the Mother System. Whenever Mother System tried to assimilate other planets into their system, the system would always rectify the defect you had in your body.
And it seemed to the Mother System that the 'Alphaness' of Males and 'Hyper feminism' of females was a disease. A disease that secretes tiny negligible amounts of gender-respective hormones into their bodies at regular intervals affects their decision-making, mentality, and personality.
And Leon right here was one such patient.
Poor guy.
"Leon, is that true?" Amy asked Leon as she was in anguish.
"N-No! It's not true!" Leon said as he looked at Amy with a wronged expression.
"Give me your phone!" Amy said after a little bit of thinking. Zachery would have guessed that Amy would have started suspecting Leon was doing some fishing in troubled waters. But he was now sure Amy had started suspecting Leon of something.
Because trusting a random ex-boyfriend on the spot was difficult. Checking his phone after they went far away from Zachery was possible but right on spot. She had some hunch that something was going on with Leon.
But she had never expected Leon to have an affair with her mother which was the reason why she was caught off guard.
"W-What! You're believing him??" Leon said looking at Amy with a wronged expression.
"Give it to me!" Amy said with a cold expression leaving no comprise.
"No, I won't!" Leon said with a resolute expression but beads of sweat appeared making his nervousness obvious.
"Is this his phone?" Zachery said nonchalantly as he showed Leon's phone and slipped it to Amy.
The reason why he changed his decision to not hug Leon was that he wanted his phone. Zachery knew that Leon was never going to hand over his phone to Amy when there was obvious evidence in that phone proving his affair with Amy's mom.
Zachery wanted these two to suffer a little. He was not going to kill them. Cheating was a repulsive act in Zachery's eyes.
But it didn't deserve death.
No matter how much anger and disgust Zachery had in his mind towards these two. They genuinely didn't deserve death.
Even if Zachery killed these two, that would only leave a bitter taste in Zachery's mouth.
No, what they deserved was torture. Torture through mental pressure. They will wish they were dead. Amy and Leon would beg Zachery to take them as a slave.
They would grovel at his feet and lick his foot as he would step at their head and Zachery would revel in their misery.
These two reveled in his misery. He would do just that to them.
And this was the first step towards that.
Amy quickly opened Leon's phone as Leon tried to stop her, and he did. But he was a little late.
Amy's whole body trembled as she saw her mom's naked photo with Leon in it. Amy's head was full blank now. She didn't know what to do.
She was filled with shame, anguish, anger, and disgust at herself, at her mother, and at Leon. She was soo-
"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk," Zachery tsked as he sat back in his chair. As Zachery was cascaded by the sofa, it felt awfully pleasant.
"Leon, you did her wrong, buddy," Zachery remarked, trying hard not to show his nasty side.
"However, as the saying goes, like mother, like daughter." Zachery gave an evil lord's grin.
"Do you still want to sit here?" Zachery said this as he leaned forward, staring at the two victims, who were gritting their teeth and unable to respond.
They both took off on their own, unable to react, giving Zachry much-needed serenity.
"Your order, sir" The server arrived and brought us our drinks. Zachery sipped his black coffee and handed Edda her cappuccino as he removed the headphones he had given her so she wouldn't hear Amy and Leon talk.
"Can we please get some chocolate cake?" Zachery asked the waitress gently with a broad smile.
"Yay!" Edda yelped a celebratory shout as she was excited to eat chocolate cake.
This chocolate cake was for both Edda and Zachery. Edda for her birthday and Zachery for these lovely moments with those two, and it was the first time Zachery genuinely fought back. As a result, Zachery felt compelled to commemorate the occasion.
But, when Zachery was about to eat his black beans, he noticed a cockroach on the roof's corner. Zachery narrowed his eyes, knowing that this was one of Kelion's most popular cafes. In this cafe, hygiene should not be an issue.
It was strange to see a cockroach inside this cafe. Zachery was not going to rage at the workers over such a little matter. He despised it when others did it. But he was planning to notify the workers about the matter quietly.
But he came to a halt as his eyes widened. His entire body trembled as a cold sensation ran down his spine. Zachery had chills as he tried to keep his shaking body under control.
He did it all because he saw a cockroach.
A cockrach Kelion never had.
