The Way was one of the most prominent sources of contention between numerous cultural and religious power structures. Because The Way inevitably leads to the Laws and Daos that rule the Omniverse.
The Laws were essentially the building blocks of the Omniverse that allowed existence to exist. But that was not to say that laws were solely good.
Laws were the ones that created Demons, Devourers, and their domains. That was the reason Demon Realm, Devour Seed, and other things became conceivable in this Omniverse.
The Way of the Demon, The Way of Devouring, and so on were the reasons why these creatures were a pain in the ass to deal with. Why was it that every narrative in our Omniverse had Demons depicted as entirely different species altogether?
Eastern fiction traditionally depicted Demons as beings who contaminated Qi while cultivating Demonic Qi, whilst Western depictions presented them as beings who contaminated Mana while cultivating Demonic Mana.
