[You have acquired a skill book {Immortal All Flesh Consuming Art}. Do you wish to learn it?]
[Y/N]
Zachery was intrigued by the titles of the books, but he had no idea what they were about.
Nonetheless, he clicked Y on both notifications. The books in Zachery's hands vanished and turned to dust all of a sudden, and Zachery's [Death Status] was updated.
[Death Status]
[Grimoire: 5 Spells](!)
[Inner Ring: 0/5](!)
[Outer Ring: 0/10](!)
[Army: None]
[Legion: None]
[Exp Storage: 0]
[Legacy]
[Summon The Greater Ones]
[The Necropolis:- Floor 1]
[The Palace of Death]
---------------------------
Zachery observed the difference in his status. His grimoire, which was a fancy name for a skill tab, had grown from three to five spells.
Zachery slid his finger and clicked on the grimoire tab. Suddenly, the AI-like status screen vanished, and a book-like projection sprang to life, spinning its page from the last to the first and stopping at the first.
Blood-red letters appeared seemingly out of nowhere and continued to write something on the first page of the "grimoire."
[Raise the Dead]
After Zachery waited for the magical writing to finish, there barely was any time to count off.
It wasn't as if the Mother System didn't have any Necromancers within Axis; in fact, Axis was surrounded by a slew of them.
[Raise the Dead] would be the first spell each Necromancer would learn. The spell was simple: it would inject necrotic mana into the dead corpse and encase the victim's soul in a death seed.
Rewriting their entire soul work and revising the victim's recollections in order to give the Necromancers a favorable impression. Necromancers could pursue one of three different specializations.
Being the Master of Bones was one of them.
The second was the Master of Flesh, in which Zachery was currently treading.
The third was to be the Master of Soul.
Each of the three individually has benefits and drawbacks. Zachery's minions would always be vulnerable to Holy damage (some exceptions are acceptable) because of their necrotic nature, and to Fire Magic (some exceptions are allowed) because of their fleshly constitutions.
Zachery, on the other hand, wouldn't mind that at all because the benefit of a flesh-specialized necromancer was that the minions they would have under their control would never cease growing.
They may easily become better versions of themselves with even just a little practice.
Another benefit was that they would keep their former power and would not be demoted when they were raised. That alone convinced Zachery to continue on this road.
After Zachery flipped the page, the second spell that emerged was [Surging Death]. Again, the artwork depicted a lich extending his hand toward a minion and allowing its necrotic energy to heal the minion to full health.
Zachery nodded, knowing it was a healing spell. If any true necromancers had heard Zachery dismiss a necrotic healing spell, they would have turned green with jealousy.
The goal of necrotic energy was to demolish, kill, and reap death. As a result, constructing a spell work as intricate as curing a being packed with necrotic energy was highly coveted.
Zachery shifted his gaze to the next page, where it said [Necrotic Wave], the first damage-oriented spell. The depiction once again showed a lich swinging his palm forward, causing a wave of crimson energy to pass through a swarm of living beings.
Every being who came into contact with the wave's face became pallid. Their noses bled, their eyes became bloodshot, and they coughed uncontrollably.
Zachery nodded again, it was an AOE assault.
Zachery flipped the page again, his eyes as wide as a saucer, checking the effect of what this 'spell' included.
[Soul Devouring Art] depiction was a man with a thick yin or evil aura and a swirling of souls around him howling their wrath, bitterness, and sorrow. However, the man with the yin aura was brutal.
As his cultivation grew, he consumed every last soul in his path. Zachery raised an eyebrow; this artwork appeared to be constructed up of systems that would baffle Zachery.
Because when Zachery sent his spirit to scan his illustration, the illustration had a damned cultivation all of its own. Zachery attentively examined the image and determined that it possessed the strength of a First Order expert.
And the spirits encircling the guy possessed the strength of the Zeroth Order. But what really surprised Zachery was that the man's cultivation had actually increased by 2%.
Even those who had been reincarnated or regressing motherduckers were prone to follow this rule because it was well-known that realm-hopping was impossible, but they frequently forgot that Zachery was currently one of those motherduckers.
Despite the fact that Zachery was barely holding on to his life at the end of the combat, he had already accomplished crossing an alphabetical rank with an arrogant young master.
Breaking the Order block was undoubtedly a difficult task because each Order comprised eight alphabetical ranks, from F to SSS rank.
It took a lot of energy to even try to break through from Zeroth Order to First Order.
And if you don't properly consolidate your cultivation, you could perish in seconds.
A breakthrough from one Order to another was more than just a big rise in pure and unadulterated strength; it was also an increase in your existential energy.
If you are a First Order specialist, you may detect a resonance between your soul and the Omniverse's reincarnation pool.
In brief, being near a First Order specialist, being a Zeroth Order, not having a strong enough mind, or the other side having any bad will towards you. It is possible that you would plunge into a never-ending pool of existential crises.
Returning to the subject, Zachery never had the slightest doubt that this legacy would ever breach the Order barrier.
