Nihil was perplexed by the man before her. She couldn't decipher his true intentions. "I will forgive you, for now," she said, approaching him and gripping his collar. "Don't dare mess with me again. Do you understand?"
"Haha, yes, ma'am," Victor chuckled, amused by her regained assertiveness. "There's a lot we need to talk about. Why don't we go inside?" He offered her dinner and a place to stay for the night.
"Inside?" Nihil surveyed the wreckage she had caused, the exterior in ruins. Thankfully, the interior of the mansion remained untouched. "Where?" She didn't expect him to accommodate her after the destruction she had wrought upon his home, but Victor had always been generous. He treated her kindly despite the chaos she brought. Of course, he had his moments of infuriating her, and she had her fair share of tolerating his antics.
