In the middle of the night....
"this shitty boss making me work overtime without pay" sighed a woman walking in an alley.
*Clank*
a sound of a metal hitting the ground resonated through the alley which caught the woman's attention.
'is it a cat?' thought of the woman as she took a peek where the sound belonged to.
'this is?!?!' KYAAAAHHH!! the woman shrieked in terror by the scene that befell her eyes, a body of a man in his 50's was laying down leaning his back on the wall while his head lost its original shape as though it was bashed with a blunt object multiple times.

In a certain street a man wearing a black hoodie tainted with a barely seen crimson red and a brown pants walked out of a convenience store with groceries on his hand.
"just a bit more and i can...." said the man in a low voice before walking away.
*wooo-WOOO-wooo-WOOO*
the sound of the siren resonated across the street as a police car passed by the man walking in the sidewalk.
"that direction is....whatever" he mumbled as he continued to walk towards an apartment building. going inside he proceeded to walk untill he stopped and faced the elevator waiting for it to open.
*ding*
he stepped inside after the door opened but before it could close again it was stopped by a hand and a woman stepped inside panting a little bit.
"whew...i made it" said the woman wiping her forehead then pressed the button to the 8'th floor.
after the door closed the woman took out her phone and seemed to be texting someone.
*BOOM*
after the car reached the 7'th floor a loud explosion erupted in the area and making the car shake with its light flickering.
"KYAAH!! w-whats happening?!?!" yelled the woman in surprise.
'w-what the hell is happening?!' thought of the man before he felt his feet detached from the floor, realizing what was about to happen it made the both of their faces pale.
"shit!.." the man said in a low voice with a frown plastered on his face before the elevator made a screeching sound and then....
*BANG*
a loud impact reverberates in the surrounding area followed by another continues explosion which caused the apartment building to collapse.

-Leo's POV
i slowly opened my eyes when i regained my consciousness only to see a blurry white ceiling.
'ugh..my head hurts what happened? where am i?' i questioned myself as my memory was fuzzy i then tried to move my body but it didn't respond as i my vision began to clear i tried to look around and saw a vital signs monitor on the bedside table in the corner of my eyes.
'im in a hospital? oh, i remember now i was on an elevator when a loud explosion erupted just above the car and....' my line of thought was stopped when i heard someone twist the doorknob to my room followed by a series of footsteps.
"oh Mr.Leo your awake! just a moment I'll get the doctor.." a feminine voice expressed surprised by me waking up followed by hurried footsteps.
after minutes of waiting someone opened the door and came inside.
"hello mr.leo im doc.martin uhh how are you doing today?" the doctor introduced himself and asked me.
'well considering myself not being able to move nor feel my body i can say im doing great doc' i thought sarcastically as i tried to slowly tilt my head to face doc.martin on my right.
"uhh right anyway your body is in a stable condition for now but we'll still need to further observe your health but i do say it's a miracle how you survived that bombing incident"
'bombing incident? you mean i was involved in a bombing incident?!' i was surprised by what i heard from the doctor's mouth, but I can't really say this is a miracle as i experienced something far worse than this.
"i heard it was a terrorist attack, well mr.leo I'll be taking my leave as i have other patients to attend to." after saying this he left the room leaving me alone.
'a terrorist attack huh.... that's a bit unbelievable i mean why would they target an apartment building? and how long was i unconscious?' as i was contemplating i heard the door once again opening followed by a feminine voice
"mr.leo you have a visitor"
'a visitor? is it henry?' i thought a friend of mine visited me but i didn't know how wrong i was.
"you can leave us alone nurse" a deep yet familiar voice pierced my ears as i wondered who it was.
"then I'll take my leave" the nurse said before leaving me and my "visitor" alone in the room.
after the nurse left i heard the rhythm of footsteps approaching the bed where i was lying down and stopped in front facing me as he gazed at me with a smile.
the moment i saw his face i instantly remembered who this person was, wearing a gray suit with a white necktie and grey pants holding a bouquet of flowers he was someone i despised and the rage i had been hiding untill now resurfaced as i glared at him with the intent to slaughter.
"y-yo....u.!!" i tried to yell with a hoarse voice as i clenched my teeth.
"this is quite a touching reunion don't you think? i do say it really is amazing how you survived, i can't imagine myself surviving that" he chuckled before he spoke with a grin.
i continued to glare at him but closed my eyes and managed to calm myself since im vulnerable like a fish out of the water, i already thought of why he's visiting me he must be connected with the bombing incident.
'he must be here to kill me' as i thought of this i fixed my eyes directly with his and tried to speak.
"yo..ur...h-here...to.....ki...ill...m-me.... aren't...you"
"correct i am here to kill you, you already know the reason don't you?" he declared with a mocking smile.
"i want to enjoy our reunion but too bad i don't have the leisure to do so, so I'll make it quick" he stated before pulling out a syringe from the bouquet of flowers and sprayed a bit of its content.
"don't worry this will be painless" he toned with a malicious smile plastered on his face as he injected the syringe's needle and it's content.
"s...stop...!!" i yelled while trying to resist but my body didn't budge an inch.
"this is a newly developed drug and it's effect is amazingly efficient not being able to be detected its also quick with it's job" he added.
" now have a wonderful sleep leo, no i should call you-" he spoke with a grin and it seems he was enjoying this before i lost consciousness and couldn't hear his last sentence.
