Chapter 471 - 472  Relentless Bombardment

The battlefield was filled with magma and flames, with steam covering the entire area.

No one knew how it would end, but everyone was relentlessly using their strongest techniques.

However, only one thing is clear to those present, and that is that today's battle is destined to be recorded in the annals of history.

The battlefield was full of tremors and shockwaves from various attacks, and the air had become scorching hot, like a hell of magma.

Anyone who gets too close will either be melted by the intense heat or torn apart by the violent impact.

Despite their belief in victory, this battle was destined to continue. None of Akainu and the others retreated, even though Whitebeard's tremor power could withstand any attack. They kept pushing forward, relentlessly.

The smoke and dust from the battle rose thousands of meters high, turning the battlefield into a chaotic mess. Amid the constant explosion, visibility was almost nonexistent.

The warship crews couldn't even lock onto Whitebeard because their view was completely obscured by smoke. Despite this, they kept firing their weapons.

The warships didn't stop their attacks, continuing to fire at the locked position. The battle was fierce, and the land on the battlefield shattered, slowly creeping toward the coast as time passed.

The offensive lasted for an unknown amount of time.

As everyone slowed down, they realized they were surrounded by blue water. They noticed they had drifted to the center of the sea, where the land had cracked and broken apart.

They had been drifting for a long time and could no longer see the coast.

Despite this, everyone was surprised to see that their attacks continued relentlessly, still bombarding Whitebeard.

Violent shocks spread periodically, creating huge waves and strong explosions when they hit the sea.

These shocks caused numerous deaths and injuries among sea creatures.

"After attacking for so long, it should be nearly over," Akainu thought to himself. He decided to use his last resort.

Since they had drifted to the center of the sea, Akainu needed to contact the main battleship first.

"Prepare the seastone net and the Death Rose. Get ready for the final blow to Whitebeard," Akainu ordered.

"Yes!" The personnel on the main battleship responded immediately. They didn't follow directly but determined Akainu's approximate location and set off as soon as they received the order.

Soon, the main battleship approached from the sea, and its crew saw the massive piece of land floating on the water.

"That's it. Lock onto Whitebeard's position right away."

Once the battleship locked onto Whitebeard, it deployed the seastone net. This massive net, made of seastone, was large enough to cover even Big Mom.

Meanwhile, Akainu and the others kept attacking Whitebeard without pause or interruption. Under Akainu's command, their assault on Whitebeard continued relentlessly.

At this moment, Akainu saw the seastone net descending from the sky and felt a surge of tension. His eyes were locked on Whitebeard. If Whitebeard didn't avoid the net, the outcome of the battle would be decided.

"That's it?" Kaido noticed the giant net beneath Whitebeard. The net appeared rigid and stiff, which led Kaido to realize it must be made of seastone; otherwise, it wouldn't be able to capture Whitebeard.

"The Marine Headquarters is quite good at making seastone nets. They're not bad compared to Wanokuni's craftsmen,"

Kaido thought. Wanokuni's craftsmen are known for their exceptional ability to process seastone into nails, he doesn't know that Marines also can create such flexible net out of seastone

Everyone noticed the seastone net and attacked desperately, hoping to distract Whitebeard and prevent him from detecting the net.

Finally, Whitebeard didn't notice the seastone net. It successfully trapped him, and his tremor power was instantly weakened.

"Suppress Whitebeard with seastone immediately." Akainu shouted.

Everyone focused on using their power to impact the seastone net.

Since the net was very large and didn't fully cover Whitebeard, it only weakened his tremor power without completely neutralizing it.

Thanks to everyone's efforts, the seastone net shrank and finally made contact with Whitebeard. As a result, Whitebeard could no longer use his tremor power.

"Hahahaha, great! It worked! Whitebeard is successfully captured!" Akainu shouted excitedly.

"Oyaji!" Aokiji said with concern. He was worried about Whitebeard and unsure if something had happened to him.

"Is it really successful? Is this seastone net your Marine's trump card?" Kaido asked in disbelief. He was stunned that such an unbelievable thing had actually happened.

"No, it's not over yet. Even without his tremor power, Whitebeard's abilities are still powerful. He must be eliminated here. You can use this chance to retreat," Akainu said.

Afterward, Akainu, Fujitora, Ryokugyu, Kizaru, and the others began to leave, jumping through the air. Kaido and Big Mom, though surprised, had no choice but to follow them.

Kaido transformed into a dragon, Big Mom rode her flying cloud, and Jack and the others were on Kaido's back. For a moment, only Whitebeard and Aokiji remained.

"Hehe, I didn't expect them to use this tactic." Whitebeard tried to use Haki to remove the seastone net, but it had little effect and his power was limited while trapped.

"Oyaji, why are you really trapped? This shouldn't be happening," Aokiji asked worriedly. As a user of a Devil Fruit power, he couldn't help Whitebeard.

"Guurarara, I wanted to see what their trump card was, but I didn't expect it to be seastone, and with such high concentration," Whitebeard said helplessly.

"But don't worry, Aokiji. Go with them and make sure they don't suspect you," Whitebeard said.

"Huh? What about you?" Aokiji asked.
