Nobody else moved after Tanya leaving behind many others on duty who stood by as the citizens were being robbed and harassed inside and outside of their stores.
There was a perfect view of what took place yet nobody chose to move like it was a regular event that happened often.
Tanya ran down the staircase reaching the busy open market and shopping area where people were being pulled out from their stores as if they were being made a public example for the others.
She ducked low twirling her body as she unsheathed her dagger unleashing it upon the back legs of one of the gangsters on the outer perimeter. "ARGH!"
They dropped down to the ground allowing Tanya to get in position behind him holding the dagger to his throat. "Get out of here now or I will begin killing each of you. This is the last warning."
Her sudden entry drew everyone's attention but seeing her small childlike appearance, some did not take it as seriously as they should.
"Hahaha."
"This kid does not have the guts."
They were ruthless in the way they did their usual activities and did not believe that a small child like Tanya had it in her to be able to get her hands dirty.
Seeing the scene from above, a small number of guards were deeply shocked.
"Damn, why did she interfere? The recruit is trying to make a mess of things."
"Did someone not teach her how things work here yet?"
A more timid-looking man asked. "Should we go help her?"
An intimidating man stood from his seat and glared. "Remain here. This girl needs to be taught a lesson."
The timid man lowered his head intimidated and giving in to the oppression of those in power.
The intimidating man looked over again and his eyes widened as he saw the scene taking place below.
A young girl stabbed the hostage she held before breaking away with light and agile movements.
It was like she was a fairy moving along the battlefield twirling and spinning with small leaps as she varied her movements to slash low and jump up onto her enemies with timed precision to deal a single deadly stab.
