A few weeks after Xunyi left the hospital, she was healthier than before. She admitted that she was desperate to find Deming, but then she realized that if she did not take care of herself, how could she find Deming? He brought her out of darkness; he gave her a hand. Jiang Mengshan tapped his slender index finger on his desk while watching a surveillance video on his desktop. He maximized Xunyi's video and watched her work while drinking coffee. He called his assistant and asked her about Xunyi.
"How is she doing so far?" He asked.
"Sir, she's been doing pretty well lately. Is there anything else?" Jenny asked him.
She bowed respectfully to him, and he demanded that she report every movement she had made.
"Yes, Sir."
After Jenny stepped out to work, Mengshan watched Xunyi. Now he understands why Deming likes her. He chuckled and said, "Deming, your woman is now in my hands."

A few months ago, Deming received an update on Xunyi being in danger. He flew to London, knowing after he landed, he got an unknown call.
"If you see Miss Xunyi now, she will be in danger." To see Xunyi was safe, he went out in disguise. He was ordered to get a bouquet of blue roses, but he did not know there was a mini-video camera that came with it. He was also ordered to write a happy birthday card. Mengshan looked down from the third floor and saw Xunyi chatting with Veronica. Mengshan's assistant, Jenny, was at his disposal. He asked her to bring Xunyi to him as he wanted to talk to her. Jenny bowed and went to the lobby.
"Miss Ling, Lawyer Jiang wants to see you. Please follow me."
Xunyi looked confused for a second, but then, she remembered Mengshan's last name was also Jiang.
"Okay." She replied and then told Veronica to wait for her upstairs.
When Jenny brought Xunyi to Mengshan's room, she closed the door to give them privacy. Mengshan stood up and greeted her.
"Feel free to take a seat. I just want to talk to you so I can understand you better." He explained, and Xunyi nodded slowly.
"What do you want to talk about?" she asked.
"Miss Ling, you have an outstanding work ethic. I have a job for you. Instead of being an intern, you can be my assistant. You can work for me since I'm also a lawyer. If you are doing a good job, in a few years, you can travel anywhere you like. This skill is also transferable so you can work in any branch you like. It's much better than being an intern. Let me know if that interests you."
Xunyi thought about it, and she looked over the paper.
"Will this also affect my school work? How's the workload?"
