Mega came down from the stairs dragging a traveling bag with him. He got down and grandmother who was sitting on the couch looked up at him and her eyes travel down to the luggage "Where are you going?" She asked
"I'm relocating" he answered as he drags his bag to the big sitting room where grandmother was sitting
Grandma look at him without saying a word.
The Queen came out from her room and moved to where Mega is.
"Mega, what's with this luggage? Are you really leaving?" The Queen said with shock. Why was she shock? She already knew Mega was serious when he said he'll move out and he always do what he says but she didn't expect him to act so fast, how would she cope without him?, her second child already went for a training in a faraway immortal world and now Mega is leaving, of her three children she'll be left with only the last, she really doesn't deserve this, she is a caring and good mother, why will Mega not even think about her feelings? Is he really leaving?
"Yes Maa, I am leaving, I don't want to be here again, I want to go faraway from this house, this household, this powers, this environment, everything, I don't wish to associate myself with anything that deals with the Mula's again, I'm going for good" Mega said with determination plainly written in his eyes. What good is his staying? This house really suffocates him, everyday looks like a thousand year to him, he had nothing he cared about again, everything just look dull and lifeless to him.
"It will soon be a year son, just forget about everything, all that we did back then was for you, I and everyone, it was the right thing to do, so forget all that has happened and move on with your life " The Queen says with desperate eyes, eyes that begs Mega to see things the way everyone does, eyes that showed she was sincere, eyes that shows she didn't want him to leave.
"It will be a year in the next two months and you know what?, I am not going to be in this house remembering what you all did. You claim it's right but to me it wasn't right, not even a bit" Mega said almost crying
The Queen wanted to talk but Grandmother cut her off by saying to her "Leave him alone my dear, let him be" and facing Mega she said "But I'll tell you two things Son, 1-what an elder sees while sitting, even if a child climbs a ladder he wouldn't see it, 2-They say seeing is believing but I'm telling you, even our eyes deceive. Go Son, May you be blessed"
Mega looked at his grandmother confused on what she meant by that but not wanting to spend more moments in the house, he picked up his bag and went out without looking back at his mother.
"How could you allow him to go Grandma?" The Queen asked confused
"Let him go, he'll soon be back anyway" Grandma said with total confidence.
The Queen look at Grandma with more confusion written on her face and then went to the window, she saw her son going out through the barrier that guides the Palace "Bye Son, be blessed" She said silently with tears rolling down her cheeks.
She is dejected but Grandma didn't seem to bother at all.
Mega went through the Palace barrier and walked a long distance before getting to the Immortal World barrier. He could have disappeared or flew there but why should he? he already promised not to use his powers. He went through the barrier and fell to the portal which teleport him to the Mortal World.
He went into the street, board a taxi and after few minutes, the taxi stopped in the front of a small house. He paid the cabman and went inside the house with his luggage. It is a Self-contained. He had rented the place a week ago. The King thinks he was kicking him out but he had already planned to leave Vekula Kingdom, guess his ancestors also wants him out, he got the perfect reason to leave without having to fight the King's men. If he just left suddenly, the King would have sent people to search for him but now he wouldn't do that, since he sent him out himself.
He should have even gone out of Deka World completely but he grew up here and he's familiar with the city since he had always come to the Mortal World before and he strongly believe he belongs in Deka, if not in the Immortal World, at least he would stay in Deka Mortal World.
He took his school bag from his travelling bag and went off to school. He already told them he was an orphan when he came to town a week ago and he made a fake paperwork with magic.
He got to the school, it has beautiful buildings with different paints on them and it is decorated with orchids and hibiscus. He went to the principal's office and a teacher called Mrs Kela was asked to show him to Modu 3 Class.
When he got there, he introduced himself as Mega Loka instead of Mega Mula and when Aya asked if he had a girlfriend, he realize she was talkative and he hates the talkative types but he likes the way Foma corrected her and he take a short look at Foma, she is dark and not too slim, the type of girl that is perfect not girls who are thin and you think they'll break if you hug them too tight.
He look around the class and saw someone in a corner, he couldn't see her very well but he knew she is a lady. She didn't introduce herself, so he pointed at her but the teacher introduce her and he wonder why she didn't introduce herself when she can talk.
When Mrs Kela said they should find him a place to sit, he went to sit beside Depa since it's empty.
