I catch the towel with a grin. "How?"
She rolls her eyes. "You just had your tongue in me less than half an hour ago yet you're looking at me like I'm your dinner."
"I've been celibate for a year, sweetheart." I remind her.
She frowns in confusion. "You have?"
"Why does that surprise you?"
She picks up her bra and wears it while she speaks. "It's just…we hadn't defined our relationship before. I thought you…"
"You thought I'd get together with other women while you were fighting for your life." I complete the statement for her, and her face falls.
"I didn't mean to make it sound that way."
