Cat looks to me for my opinion and it doesn't take a genius to guess what just crossed her mind. I think it's a good idea, so I take her hand and squeeze it in mine to reassure her.
She's still a little scared. Although Simeon could not trace Natalia's true background for years, part of the reason was her staying away from her family. Since she reconnected with her mother, things may be different. That's why I will do my best to make sure Lily is never discovered, even if Cat doesn't end up sending her siblings here.
"Is something wrong?" Lily asks us.
Cat shakes her head. "No. I think it's perfect. I'll send Elena and Rico here." She forces a smile, then she mutters between gritted teeth, "As soon as I find a way to talk to them after what I pulled."
"I'll talk to them," I promise her.
I hear a ding, after which Lily stands. "That would be the cookies. I'll take them out."
