"What's the occasion?" I ask Luna when she drops off the third box off to my room this afternoon. I know from the logo on the first box she brought that it's a garment, but no one told me anything about going anywhere today. I'm quite reluctant to go anywhere—I've been spending most of my time with Tiana and neither of us wants to move an inch. The little darling is currently playing with a textured book on my bed.
Luna has a bright smile on her face as if she's heard the best news of her life. "Family dinner."
I'm momentarily confused.
If it was a Romano family dinner, I would understand the need to dress up and probably plaster my face with makeup too. But the De Santis don't care about any of that crap. They try to gather together for dinner once in a while, but everyone dresses the way they want to. I could eat in day-old pajamas and no one would bat an eyelid.
"Right here?" I ask.
"On the rooftop, yes."
