CAT
I'm going to relive what is probably my worst nightmare. Will doesn't want me to, but it's not something I can run away from.
"I will have to face it one way or another, Will," I tell him.
He still looks worried. "I know, but can you at least wait until you're stable?"
Something tells me the longer I wait, the higher the chance that whatever I forgot will come haunting me at the worst time possible. If I have to face my ghosts, I have to do it now.
I place my hand on his. "I'll be alright. I faced it once."
'And look what happened' is written all over his face although he doesn't say it out loud.
"I will be alright," I assure him. "This time, I'm ready for it and besides, I will only be remembering it."
He is less worried when I say the last part, but he still sits beside me on the couch and holds my hand. "You can make it stop any time you want."
I nod. I'm ready.
