He lets out a nervous chuckle. "I know we just met but I like you…I'd like to get to know you better."
I knew from the glaringly obvious hints that Bastian might ask me out, but I'm still surprised when he does. I didn't expect him to be so straightforward about it.

What am I doing? Wasn't I trying to forget about Will?
Even so, I don't think it's a good idea to possibly lead on a man just because I want to forget another. Since he's being straightforward, I decide to follow suit. "I'm trying to get over a momentary situationship."
He raises a brow.
Crap. That just sounded like I'm hung up on a one-night-stand.
To my surprise, he says, "I don't mind. We can get to know each other, see where it goes? No pressure."
"Alright." I let him key his number in my phone and give himself a missed call.
