When Nico said he would watch the series I suggested with me, I didn't expect him to come with an outrageous suggestion the following day.
"We can watch it at your apartment. Esteban is busy today and can't take my place guarding your home," he says.
That's an absurd idea. I instantly reject it. "That's alright. We can watch it some other day."
He grins. "That won't do. I already told Elena, Rico and Natalia we would be watching a movie tonight. I even told them you would cook dinner."
There's so much odd about that statement that for a second, I don't know what to say.
"Wait. You've been talking to my family?"
"Of course." He laughs like I'm asking the obvious. "Will wanted me to protect them in secret but I felt that would be too rude. I introduced myself to them. They were happy to have me."
