Esteban takes me to the basement. I have a bad feeling about this.
When I saw Will's injured arm earlier and the evident blood stains on him and the others, I thought Esteban would need my help taking care of injuries. That doesn't seem to be the case, however.
"What do you need me to do?" I pry. I feel a shiver and I'm not sure whether it's from the night breeze or the ominous thought of whatever is expected of me this time.
If I were to take a guess, I'd go with the latter.
"We are here." Esteban says in response. I follow him into the dungeon and my heart skips a few beats. Which unlucky person do I have to kill this time, and can I say no?
Esteban seems to be reading my mind because he chuckles. "Don't worry. This time, you get to choose."
Something tells me not to be relieved yet.
Sure enough, it isn't long before I see this for what it is—another trap.
