The next school day, I went to school normally and when I got inside the room, my classmates were all talking about the incident that happened at the back of the school building. Most of them were laughing at the bullies I injured and thanked the attacker, which made me happy. Well… I won't say I did it, but I'll accept your worship.
The investigation was in full swing during the week and even though they got some leads on who attacked the students, they were unable to find further information due to my concealment technique so they just thought of someone either outside the school or a student attacking the bullies for revenge.
I heaved a sigh of great comfort as the investigators never found further leads from that crime. Yeah, I called that a crime, well… what they did to me… was also a crime so… it's all good.
Since the bullies were hospitalized and their families got angry at the school's security and management, there were heated moments in the principal's office which I never cared about at all, so, my peaceful school-day life has gone back to what it was before.
And since then, no one bothered me.

I learned much during the months in school such as hand-to-hand combat, but it didn't create the skill so… I need to get specific skills, but I'm in no hurry, I am targeting to be proficient in mana-based skills instead of martial arts-based skills. Aside from that, there is this per-year class battle competition to test out our strengths. So, as a first-year prep school student, I easily let my opponent defeat me. Of course, I made it so realistic and tried to punch out at the mortal grade strength, but let my opponent, or rather, my classmate, who was in stage 10 of the human mana, have his mana arrows hit me in the guts and 'fainted' on the spot, don't worry, I only felt stings when it hit me, but of course, it bruised me quite a bit. It healed immediately though, thank you soul stage body!
As for the entire competition? The twin stars of our class battled it out in front of the whole class and the boy won as the 1st placer and the girl took 2nd place. Me? I was defeated in the first match so… Hahaha!
Whatever! I don't want to stand out and be the target of jealousy and hatred you know!? And so, I just continued cultivating my techniques!
