'So, it really happened, huh.' He groaned feeling the inactive card. As the circle glowed he vanished from the room.

'Did he leave?' Her body trembled, he hadn't been answering her calls and he didn't punish her for orgasming before the time. It had to be that.

A sudden earthquake shook the place. The area where the impact originated was the basement. The impact had so much power that every piece of glass across the fortress had shattered into pieces as wood splinters flew across the air. Air itself had become heavy like it had something mixed in it, and the sudden shift in mood ended everything ongoing in the fortress. Everyone's eyes went downwards.
"Chloe, where are you going? It is dangerous!" Olga shouted as her aid rushed out of the meeting room.
"I think we should go and check what is happening too." Celestine stood up too.
She had come here on an official meeting to discuss Maia's release and further peace with Olga.
'So, it has started…' However, that was only on the surface. Alongside Claudia and Kaguya, she came here to make sure that Vult had died which would mark the end of the campaign. And she also had some questions for Olga herself.
"Alright, but you better not make any unnecessary moves." Olga warned her.
"Why would I do that with a fellow collaborator?" Celestine didn't understand why the dark queen was so wary of her. After all, she had overlooked all her one-sided decisions so far.
"Our collaboration ended with that swine's capture, I am no longer an ally of yours. What happens to you after this, or what you plan to do has nothing to do with me." Olga said walking out of the room.
"She is quite hardheaded, isn't she?" Kaguya sighed, the talks haven't gotten anywhere because of this.
"It doesn't matter, in the end, she too will understand Adam's glory. Let's see what this fuss is about." Celestine stepped ahead.
"Lady Celestine, I don't have a good feeling about this." Kaguya's nose scrunched up. It was like she felt something unholy moving about below, like a disgusting bug that crawled out of a shit pile.
"Don't worry, We are protected by Adam's grace. Nothing will happen to us when we do his bidding." Celestine said walking out of the meeting room. Claudia who waited for them outside also followed her with Kaguya.
On the stairs that led to the basement, Chloe ran at full speed as everything shook after what seemed like another impact.
'I knew it! Those damned Princess Knights only came to cause trouble, there were never here for peace!' She doubted them the moment the message asking for a peace treaty arrived.
They planned to use this and trick Olga. Not only did they start a war on them unilaterally this time, they came around blowing the horns of peace when one of their people got captured. She hadn't seen bigger hypocrites than them, and to think that Olga praised Celestine too. It made her sick.
'How dare she pull such a cheap trick on My Queen?' Chloe understood their plan of keeping Olga busy upstairs while attacking the basement. But, these idiots didn't know that Maia wasn't kept in prison.
Olga had given her a separate room where she received food three times a day, she was even permitted to use the bath and train using an actual sword. Maia wasn't even kept like a prisoner. She received equal respect as Olga. A treatment too good for a human in her eyes, but this was the way Her Queen did things so she accepted.
To think they'd repay it like this. Biting her lips she entered the basement, however, her eyes went wide at what she saw. The place made to imprison the strongest of Olga's enemies, it had multiple curses, magic circles, artifacts, and traps incorporated into it. The stone used had enough density that not even she could punch through it. Not to mention the 100 ogres who stood guard in this area.
Not even the Princess Knights could run away from here unscathed. But, today things changed.
"Ah, you're that whiny little bitch that's around that whore, huh?" Right now Vult stood in the middle of the destroyed prison.
The last time she saw him he was missing his hair, teeth, fingers, and toes along with his sanity, however, now he stood in front of her completely healed. But, he didn't look human. His bloodshot eyes locked onto her like a vile snake, his skin had darkened to almost a tar-like color as thick red veins popped from his body.
'I can't move!' It felt similar to being petrified, but she could still feel her body. A feeling of terror rose from every fiber of her being as he stepped closer.
"Perfect timing! I'll rape you in front of her before I break her myself! Hahaha!" With each of his steps, the ground below cried out.
'Those impacts were from him walking?' Chloe bit her lip till it bled. This wasn't a power that Olga could face, as the one closest to her, she knew Olga's secret.
She couldn't use her sorcery anymore. So, if this vile bastard reached Olga, even with those artifacts she wouldn't be able to defeat him. Chloe knew she had to do something. This guy had made his ugly intentions clear.
'I can't let him get near My Queen!' Chloe gritted her teeth reaching for her daggers. The fear of something happening to Olga turned out to be far greater than the fear she felt from this bastard.
"You're dea—koof!" But, before she could even take a step forward, his palm struck her left cheek her vision spun.
"C-Chloe…" She could see Olga standing on the staircase behind, her yellow eyes bulging in disbelief.
Chloe had never seen her so shaken, her eyes trembled as she stood there in shock. Locking her eyes with Olga, both of them understood that this was the end.
'R-Run… please…' Chloe wanted to speak, but her twisted vocal cords didnt allow her. Nothing came out of her gaping mouth as her body slumped.
"Chloeee!!" Olga's guttural scream rang in her ears as the unsteady footsteps stopped right next to her.
'Why don't you run? Please save yourself.' Even in her last moments, she wanted Olga to be safe. She had no chance of living after what happened, they had no way of healing such an injury at least in Olga's current state she had no chance.
"How did she die? I was sure that I held back. Well, whatever, you'll have to make up for her."
