Chereads / Unheard Wishes: A Tale of Desires / Chapter 236 - Betrayal

Chapter 236 - Betrayal

"I'd say they still aren't in any condition to hear me out." Adam sighed noticing their eyes.

They were too deep into the pit of lust. After all, they have been programmed to pleasure men through the rigorous physical and mental torture they were put through. And upon Vult's demands, they were made to like especially strong men. He was planning to use it as a way to encourage men to climb the ranks, so they could have a chance with them after he gave them a taste.

So, in the presence of someone like Adam whose strength far surpassed any mortal limitations, the women were very much creaming themselves.

"L-Let me have your virile seed," The Dark Queen, Olga Discordia the woman who had been on a war path with Celestine for years, took the first step, or more so she stumbled her way towards him and clung to him.

"No, I'll have his kid!! Please let me!" The Commander-in-chief of the allied forces, the strongest fighter amongst the Seven Shields Claudia Levantine, and a married woman. She too had been reduced to this state.

"You all…" Celestine was heartbroken seeing them this way. The proud and powerful women she knew were nowhere to be found, they were now like shells who only craved sex.

But she didn't say anything further and glanced at Adam, and instantly her heart was free of the burden. It was an instinctive feeling, she knew that he would help them and her as well.

"So, have you calmed down now?" Adam asked Olga who suddenly jumped back.

"My mind… is this your doing?!" Her yellow eyes turned to Adam with fury burning in them. She had used a spell to destroy her mind so that the body that remains is but a puppet. But because of her declining abilities, she had left behind a part of her soul behind last time.

'And now I have been restored entirely.' Olga looked around to see the other Princess Knights, from the memories she looked through, they also fell to Vult.

But what mattered was, what would happen to her now. With her Magic abilities now gone for good Olga was now in the middle of her enemies, and she was more concerned because this appeared to be a new trick used by Vult to shame her further.

"Olga be more respectful to Adam, I will not warn you again." But her thoughts were blown away with those words spoken by Celestine.

"And since when did you think that I was scared of your warning?" Olga turned towards the one she had been at war with for centuries. She was never once scared of Celestine or the Empire, if it wasn't for her declining Magic abilities nothing of this sort would've ever happened.

"And what about him? Do I need to care for a …human?" Her sharp eyes turned to Adam who had an awkward look on his face, and it wasn't because of Olga.

"You should care as you are speaking to a God. You should be grateful that you are allowed to stand in his presence." Kaguya, the black-haired woman spoke.

But more than her words, her actions were what caught everyone's eye. She was on her hands and knees with her forehead on the ground, this was the Dogeza. This was used by Celestine when she first met Adam, and she learned of this from Kaguya when she was visiting her once.

"I knew you would be able to recognize him." Celestine sounded pleased, but her expression had no visible change.

"And I thank you for the opportunity." Kaguya spoke still maintaining her position.

"W-What are you…?" Alicia Arcturus, the blonde-haired girl looked as confused as she was when she got her sanity back.

The others were also unable to fathom the conversation going on between Kaguya and Celestine, but there was much more on their mind to pay attention to this.

"What nonsense." Olga let out a dissatisfied grunt, but rather than continuing this topic any further she turned her heel to leave.

'I need to get away from here with Chloe. I will then look for how to deal with those scums.' Olga knew that the current opportunity was good. Everyone seemed preoccupied with their problems, so she could use this escape. But the words made her stop in her tracks.

"Ok let's stop the previous topic and get on to the main point. Vult and his army are now dead." Adam felt the shocked gazes of everyone present on the balcony, except for two. One of them had witnessed the scene and the other...

"Kaguya you can stand up now." She silently stood up without a sound at his words and waited for his next words with her eyes on the ground. There was no sign of surprise, Adam could say whatever he wished and she would believe it all at this moment.

'I… was not abandoned. Thank you.' This was enough for her, as the things she had gone through had tested her faith, and she broke down along with it. She had nothing but gratefulness for him, and all he did was just show up in front of her.

"So, you want to be the next leader now? Is that why you gathered us?" Olga felt bitter, as she had fallen out of the pot, only to land in the fire. Vult was powerful but he had his weakness, but the man in front of her had killed his entire army. Worst of all he appeared to be a powerful sorcerer on top of being an adept fighter.

'They really are dead.' Olga could see Vult lying in the room beyond the balcony, and the roads below were also covered in corpses.

She was not sure of the God business the two religious nuts were going on about, but she was certain that the man in front was a fearsome sorcerer. A Sorcerer she would never want to cross, even if she was at the peak of her power.

"No, I have no such plan," Adam spoke up to stop Celestine and Kaguya who were about to speak up, the two most stoic women in the group were the most reactive ones when it came to him.

"Then why did you do this?" Olga's fists clenched, she was waiting for what Adam's real reason was. Now that he had a plan for them, she knew that there was no escape.

"I simply want to give you guys a chance to go back to the way things were." He had good intentions, but to these people, these words cut deep.

"Do you think this is a joke?" And to Olga, this was even more ridiculous; the once proud Dark Queen was reduced to the status of a sex slave because her people rebelled.

They chose to believe the words of a human rather than the words of the woman who gave them a safe haven for centuries. How can she ever go back to that? Even if hell freezes over, she would not.

"Going back…? No…" And there was another who had faced enough traumas to hate this idea. It was the Commander-in-chief of the allied forces, the woman who was Celestine's sword and shield, Claudia Levantine.

But this sword broke too, and the way it broke was ugly. She was the strongest warrior of the Seven Shields, but Claudia was betrayed by her own father-in-law—mentor and father figure—who raped her in front of his son. Later she was subjected to more sexual torture by the soldiers of the Sex Empire—who once followed her—along with the civilians of the Fort she was sent to protect.

In the end, she became a sex-crazed woman who forgot all about the husband she loved so dearly.

'I can't face him… no, never…' Claudia still remembered acting like a whore in front of her husband as multiple men took turns with her.

She could clearly remember him crying at the sight as she enjoyed her situation without a care. Just thinking about it now made her claw at her hair in tears, and she would've torn the hair off her scalp, if not stopped by Celestine.

"Listen to his words first. I can assure you that all will be solved." Claudia stared at Celestine with tears, this was the woman she believed in and fought for. But it brought her nothing other than misery; even then she did not resent her.

The reason for her downfall was her Father-in-law, along with her weakness. So now, she had to believe in Celestine again, no it was her only choice as the man in front of them was revered by the Reincarnation of the Goddess. There was no one else other than him who could help, and she was correct.

"What I want to do is give your past selves their possible future as a dream, that is only if you want to know what could've happened."
