Chapter 167 - Complaints...

"I see, so that is what you think Devils should be like?" Adam nodded, he didn't really care what Euclid thought or what his fucking ideology was, in short, he didn't give two fucks about that, currently, there was just one thing that irked him as he saw Euclid nod so pompously to his question.

"Then, why are you being such a bitch?" Adam asked and the smile on Euclid's face froze.

"You say that devils are supposed to use everything they can use to get their means, No?" Adam folded his arms and stared down Euclid, "Then why are you crying over Grayfia's move to the New Satan Faction, I say that she moved perfectly according to your thoughts didn't she?"

What Adam had said wasn't wrong, Grayfia had switched teams for her own sake, and she wanted to protect herself from the treatment she would receive in her previous faction.

She did that and worked with Sirzechs Lucifer becoming the Queen of his Peerage, therefore solidifying her position in the New Satan faction. So, there was no need for Euclid to care so much when…

"…She stopped looking for you in order to protect her position, isn't that what you think as the ideal type of Devil, One that does what it takes to get what they want?" Of course, what Adam said wasn't fully true, but it could be seen that way for someone like Euclid who didn't have all of the information.

And it solidified Grayfia to be the Devil that Euclid had described, he even mentioned it twice just to get his point across.

"…" Euclid stared at Adam who was just looking at him, he was waiting for an answer to this blatant provocation.

But of course, Euclid had no thoughts of playing along with this.

"Got you…" That was all he said with a calm smile as he jumped back, and then a group of people covered in all-black robes jumped down on top of Adam entirely surrounding him.

There were currently more than 20 members of Nilrem covering Adam like a dome, and their job was not to attack him. Euclid already knew that there was a little chance for these guys to hurt Adam who was a master magician.

"[Explode]" Euclid spoke the command and the twenty people started to blow up like a balloon while their flesh surged to inhuman proportions, all of the Magic power in their body along with their lifespan which was also converted into Magic Power, was used for this single explosion.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

The entire area was turned over as the terrifying shockwave from that explosion tore through the place, or it would've. Euclid had used the barriers he had placed in advance to contain all of the damage from that explosion around Adam, this is what he was up to this whole time.

"To think that you would fall for that kind of sloppy acting," Euclid smiled thinking of previous words, "I was just buying time to get the necessary arrangements in place, thankfully you were foolish enough to believe me." All of that was his plan just to show that. "I don't care about her or what she had done, nor do I care about anything else."

"All that I care about is turning the world upside down, and letting the world know how formidable the actual Devils are," Euclid's words were a declaration, "And to do that I will have to drag those phony Satans down to the deepest pits of hell and destroy their stupid alliances." There was nothing that could stop him, as he was too far gone in his fanatic loyalty.

"Hmm, you say you don't care about your sister?" Adam's voice rang out as he waved away the dust, he was completely unharmed.

"But all of the impact from that explosion was focused on me, none of that went in that direction. Don't you think that speaks a different story?" Adam pointed in Grayfia's direction, she didn't even have to defend herself from this attack, since all of it was focused on Adam as even barriers were made to contain that attack.

"Well, that is because I need to take you out first," Euclid said as the ground below Adam started to shine, it was one of the magic traps he had planted in the place beforehand, he had also filled it with magic to the max making it possible for this to heavily injury even a Satan, "And besides, a servant like her, is of no threat to someone like me, someone who will terrorize the entire world and burn it down."

FWOOOSHH*

A fiery tornado rose from Adam's feet intending to swallow him whole.

But Adam didn't move for two reasons, one, he didn't need to since it would do nothing to him, and second….

"You sound rather confident for such a lukewarm attack," Grayfia spoke as the fire tornado was scattered in an instant, there was no need to say that it was her doing.

"You…" Euclid looked at Grayfia as his eyes widened.

"I think I have given you enough time to yell out your misgivings," Grayfia said calmly taking a step forward, "Now it is my turn." She didn't look like she was in a good mood.

"Why did you not come to see me when I was searching for you?" Grayfia's anger was understandable in a sense, but Euclid didn't have the patience to hear her complaints like she did.

"Why would I come to see a traitor like you?" Euclid was still hung up on this point, no it could be said that, "How do you expect me to come and see you in that state?!" the only reason for his anger was this.

But as seen before Grayfia was done listening and what she wanted no was answers. Answers for why he didn't come to see her, answers for what he was doing all this time, and answers for…

"Euclid, where are your manners?" Words as cold as ice left her lips as a small frown formed on her forehead, "I don't remember teaching you to talk with me in this manner."

"Why you…" It was just that the more Euclid heard this the angrier he became, "Why would I respect a servant of the Gremory? You aren't who you used to be!" he had even forgotten that his calm persona was breaking, and there was a good reason for this.

"Then as of this moment, I'll stop being Grayfia of the Gremory House," Grayfia said as her maid uniform changed, no it was all gone, "I'll go back to being Grayfia Lucifuge, if that is what it takes for you to listen to me."

She was now in a black shirt with golden caramel accents at the edge, as two golden trims go down the shirt that splits just above her stomach, this paired with the blue pants she looked just like…

"Ne…" Euclid closed his mouth quickly before he completed the words.

"That's a nice start, I suppose," Grayfia of course caught that, and it just served to infuriate Euclid. She had nearly gotten him by just changing her clothes.

"Don't get too cocky, you are nothing!!!" Euclid wasn't going to take this, "Do you think that it can be solved just like this! You are wrong!!" if it was that easy, would he have so much trouble at this moment?

Why does she think that it would work out if she just said those words? Does she think that it will end just like that?

But in truth Grayfia had no such thoughts; in all honesty, there was no need for her to think of that. She was not planning on ending things peacefully, because there was no way Euclid would listen to her that way.

"I see, you are just like Father," Euclid froze on the spot hearing that.

"W-What do you mean?" His voice cracked and for good reason as well.

"Both of you can't understand the fact that the Lucifer bloodline has abandoned you, until you are on your last breath,"
