-Outskirts, Thalassia Kingdom.

3rd POV*

Ascella and the others just reached a small village that they saw on their way towards the next town. They were greeted by the village chief who is friendly enough to even lend them a place to sleep. Ascella is now talking with Tania as he was asking for some informations that he needed to know. "Is there some kind of place where I can sell things in the next town?" He asked since he wanted to sell some things to obtain money. He's been spending it all on useless things anyway so he thought that maybe it is time to learn how to budget. "Ascella.. Let me handle our money from now on.. you suck at handling them" Tania said with pity on her eyes. Ascella's mouth twitched at her words but just let her, she became rather comfortable with him which is acceptable for him.

"By the way Genib.. why is there a human like creature with mana here?" Ascella asked seriously. He thought that there are no magical beings in the settlements of human but he immediately saw one in this village. "Well... It's not unusual for magical creatures to try experiencing the human life so many of them are just entering their society and living there" Genib explained making Ascella thought about it seriously. "So you say that there could be a chance that I will meet more magical creatures on many towns?" He asked gaining a nod from Genib, "Thats the gist of it" he accepted her explanation while handing their money to Tania. Among them, she has the most experience in human society so making her handle it is more rational.

"Since we are here anyway, why don't we tour this village as well? They might have something special here" Ascella suggested as the two accepted it. They left the village chief's house and began their tour to the place, they saw a old woman cleaning a stone monument that has many cracks on it, probably on the verge of destruction. "Is this a famous person, old man?" Ascella asked while staring at the monument while Tania just stared at him baffled, he was being too rude! "Hoho, guess young people nowadays don't know this person.." the old man seemed to be amused by Ascella's question as he chuckled. "? Did he do something special to gain a monument here?" He asked.

"You could say that, this person is a mage after all. In the past, he is one of Thalassia's 4 Sages.. they were the guards of the king, each possessing combat abilities that would make them look like gods. This person is said to be able to control the weather with the mastery of his water magic" The old man told them his tales as they listened carefully. "You refer to him with past tense.. does that mean he is dead?" Tania asked the old man. "Sadly yes... He died confronting one of the royal guards of the Queen of Fae." The old man informed them with a melancholic look on his eyes. Genib puffed her chest when she heard that, "They are strong! Genib witnessed them once and they literally cut down a whole forest with just one spell!" Genib boasted.

"Is that so? I'd love to meet them then" Ascella said enthusiastically with Tania getting goosebumps at that, she pictured a battle on her mind, a fight that would ravage the land until it turned desolate. "Well, too bad he is already dead. I was hoping to have a chat with him about his magic" Ascella shook his head in disappointment while the old man just chuckled, "That was 110 years before after all.. Sages might be able to live long but he was just misfortunate to meet a Fae" The old man said as he continued cleaning the monument. Ascella gave his respect to the man as he read the name on the plate which is "Sage: Zaniah".

They continue touring until they eventually got bored, "Isn't the tale of that old man interesting? Being able to change weather with magic.. I would love to do that!" Ascella said with stars on his eyes. Tania raised her hand, "Hm? What is it, Tania?" Ascella asked her. "Can I also... learn magic? You said I was a magical creature right?" She asked while hoping Ascella would accept. "Alright, I'll have Genib teach you" he simply pushed the work to Genib who grumbled. "...How are we supposed.. to do that? If you forgotten, I can't see.. this so called Genib" Tania pointed out the problem which made Ascella freeze. "Also, Genib can't teach her Ascella. We use different types of chant, Genib is using the spirit language which is impossible for anyone to learn" Genib explained.

"Huh? Then how did I copy your magic before?" Ascella asked confused since he can copy her magic easily before. "Hm? Don't you know spirit language Ascella? Genib is also surprised when you talked using spirit language when we first met" Genib tilted her head as she asked. "Ha? I'm using spirit language right now? Wait.. did those orcs have a different language too?" He asked with Genib nodding her head at the question. Ascella massaged his head as he composed his thoughts, "You're saying that I have been talking with other languages without noticing it all this time?" Ascella sighed, "I see, so the thing you were muttering... is language of the spirit huh? I thought... you have gone mad before Ascella" Tania said smiling.

"Heeh, you've gotten cheeky brat" Ascella grabbed her head and scratched his fist on it. "W-Wait! I... was wrong!" Tania tried running away only to be locked by Ascella's inhumane strength. "Get your punishment~" he was having fun playing with her head with the girl just clenching her head while pouting at Ascella. Ascella stopped when he was satisfied before looking at the sky with serious look on his face. 'Mana.. gather and turn into a hard rainfall' he thought before 3 people in the village noticed the action. It was Genib a spirit, Tania who is sensitive with magic and lastly the magical creature who chose to dwell in this small village. He was alarmed by the large amount of mana dancing in the air. The mana circled all around before they went to the sky.

The blue sky was suddenly covered with dark black clouds threatening to pour. Columunimbus has appeared with the rain in it. It started from a weak falling of water until it turned into something dangerous, the water are too hard that it places hole in the ground the moment it fell. The villagers started panicking from the phenomenon as they prayed to the gods to stop this bad event. Ascella also saw the damage so he immediately stopped the rain by dispersing the mana. As usual he can't control his power at all.

3rd POV*

Atlas and the other elders are currently in a plain ground, though they might be called elders but they don't look that much different from Atlas. The title Elder are given to those stronger than normal Orcs, so having this title would give you previliege in the tribe. The 5 elders left here are the one who passed the test that Atlas gave them. He confirmed that they were loyal to the young lord and they are here now to learn the technique that Atlas made.

"You people should know already that we are cursed to be hated by mana. They won't get close to us so us being able to interact with them is impossible." Atlas started with a lecture first, he wanted them to remember the basic so that no problems will occur in the future. "I saw the young lord doing something while fighting against me.. he was supplementing himself with mana resulting to his body gaining more strength." Atlas recalled his experience when he was fighting Ascella, his words made the elders amazed so they listened more carefully. "But alas, we can't copy what he did as we are devoid of mana.. we can't possibly use those stupid things flying in the air but there is one thing we can use! Something that has been with us ever since we were childrens!" Atlas exclaimed emphasizing it.

The elders thought until everyone of them arrived at one conclusion, "Miasma.." one of them muttered gaining a nod from Atlas. "That's right, Miasma... Normally any being would turn mad when they have a contact with miasma but its not us! We are born in a location full of miasma, we eat along with miasma and we sleep with it. Its more like a companion to us.. taking advantage of this, I tried supplementing my body with miasma but it was harder than I initially thought. But with my strong will and endurance I finally did it! Right now my body is still being enchanted by the miasma.. every second I grow stronger" Atlas finished his explanation with the elders blood already boiling from excitement. They can't wait to try this technique and enhance their capabilities themselves.

They started their training immediately with Atlas guiding them what to do. He was already experienced with this so he has no problem parting his knowledge to others, they need to strengthen their strength before challenging the other tribes. They might get pressured if the others know they are weaklings. "Hey, don't force it all! Keep it to the minimum, this is your first time so pushing all miasma on your body would only result to you exploding" Atlas was patient in teaching them. By the time the sun sunk down, they finally learned how to do it, miasma could now enter their body easily without any hindrance.

"Now that you finished your training, go spread it to others. I have other business to attend, make sure by the time I return everybody already know how to do the technique... Also, keep everyone's mouth shut about this thing specially the brats" Atlas said the last word menacingly erasing the flaring ego of the elders."Wait, where are you going Atlas?" One elder asked staring at Atlas eyes. "I don't want to waste more time, I'll rush to the Grako Tribe.. they have the same amount of numbers as us so it would be easy" Atlas said making the elders freeze, this guy is really nuts! Thats what is in their minds. ""Understood"" the elders bowed their head in respect before going to their perspective places.

Ascella's POV*

Oops.. I probably overdid it. I just never expected that the rain would be too strong to even put a hole on buildings... Now the whole village is in wreck because of what I did. "Ascella!! What did you do!" Genib was shouting all around while grabbing her hair. She was in clearly in panic, I turned at Tania when I noticed she was too quiet but sighed when I saw her fainted. Her eyes were rolled as if in disbelief with what happened. I guess I really did overdo it haha..ha

"What should we do now?" Genib asked while staring at me. "How about running away?" I said with a grin on my face, its just the second place we've reached and we already caused havoc.. well I did but considering they are my companions they should be counted too right? I grabbed Tania by her nape and sneaked out of the place, I placed the last few gold coins I have to repay for the damages. I am sure that it was more than enough but my conscience is telling me to repay them. Well, that was a fun experience and I learned a lot in there, I wonder what would happen in the next town? I am looking forward to what it would be, but first.. I gotta run from those angry villagers hehe
