Chapter 66 - Rejecting Support (15)

Bo Xiyun: "Ah?"

For a brief moment, Young Master Bo thought he had overanalyzed and started hearing things that weren't there. He couldn't comprehend this request at all. Marriage?

However, Wen Xiusen's calm response left no room for misunderstanding.

Sitting upright by the bedside, Wen Xiusen continued, "I've just finished shooting my last film, and I currently have a half-month break. In half a month, I have a guest role in a project, and the shooting will take no more than three days."

Despite his young age, Wen Xiusen had already won an acting award, and his recent box office performance had been excellent. However, his schedule wasn't too tight as he avoided participating in promotional activities or various entertainment shows.

Wen Xiusen's upcoming projects included a web series, but the contract hadn't been signed yet, and he was willing to recommend a suitable replacement actor to the director.

Regarding other commitments like magazine shoots and brand endorsements, Wen Xiusen had always been selective in his choices. His schedule allowed for some flexibility, and minor adjustments wouldn't pose much of a problem.

Then, Wen Xiusen directly stated his proposal, "I can free up two and a half months for our wedding preparations."

Bo Xiyun, however, was left even more stunned, "Ah?!". He couldn't help but feel like Wen Xiusen had this all planned out in advance.

Naturally, Bo Xiyun was well aware of Wen Xiusen's scheduling capabilities, but he was concerned about the most fundamental question, "Why... why do you want to marry me?"

Wen Xiusen maintained his unwavering gaze on him, then he suddenly asked, "Why did you want to sponsor me?"

Bo Xiyun was momentarily at a loss for words. He had originally intended to question Wen Xiusen about bringing up this matter out of the blue, but Wen Xiusen's response caught him off guard.

"I have the same reasons as you," Wen Xiusen replied.

Bo Xiyun blinked for the third time in astonishment. Did Wen Xiusen also have feelings for him?

(Tn: I thought he would say something like: is he going to use me for show off to? I mean Bo Xiyun have weird brain.)

This thought surprised Bo Xiyun, but upon further reflection, he found it understandable. After all, alphas and omegas were naturally attracted to each other, and their pheromones were so compatible.

In the grand scheme of things, marriage didn't seem like a particularly harsh condition.

As Young Master Bo thought about this, he suddenly noticed the light dimming in front of him. The man who had been staring at him for a while leaned in, and the cold, frosty scent dispersed like snowflakes, landing gently on Bo Xiyun's soft lips.

Wen Xiusen abruptly kissed him.

A warmth slowly spread through their lips and teeth. This time, Bo Xiyun finally confirmed that the man's earlier words were true – he hadn't really let Wen Xiusen kiss him much before.

As for the fact that Young Master Bo still had no experience up to this point, not only was his kissing technique lacking, but even his ability to resist felt inexperienced and feeble.

When they kissed, Bo Xiyun was sitting on the bed, and Wen Xiusen was leaning over, with their lips, teeth, and even noses pressed closely together. They were so close that they almost seemed to meld into one, causing the not-so-sturdy makeshift bed to emit a creaking sound.

It felt like they were engaged in some kind of improper affair.

Bo Xiyun had only recently learned about pheromones and had very limited knowledge. However, all of this newfound knowledge came from Wen Xiusen's personal guidance.

It was as if he had already been imprinted with another person's scent even before undergoing marking.

Young Master Bo could only deduce that the concentration of pheromones inside the human mouth must be higher.

That's why it felt...

So pleasurable.

Fortunately, the alpha's advances had only reached the lips, and he didn't continue further. When the young master, who had been almost breathless due to inexperience in kissing, finally managed to catch his breath, the man let go at the right moment.

"*Huff*... *Ugh*..."

The breathless youth, whose fingertips felt a bit weak, finally managed to wipe away the moisture from his eyelashes with his hand. He had anticipated that, on a ship, the other party wouldn't go too far and would stop after a kiss.

However, Bo Xiyun had no idea what he looked like right now. His face, soft and tinged with a delicate blush, looked even better than usual. His lips, usually pale, were now with a captivating gloss, looking so inviting.

With a look like that, and still slightly panting with moist eyes, it was impossible for anyone to restrain themselves.

Even someone with extraordinary patience could only use their last bit of self-control to pull back from the edge of the abyss.

Not because they didn't want to continue.

But because they didn't dare to.

The young master raised his gaze and looked over, his long, curled lashes enhanced by the moisture, making them appear even more alluring. He had no idea about the alpha's feelings and restraint at this moment, and he felt puzzled.

"Why... did this happen suddenly...?"

Suddenly kissed him?

Wen Xiusen sat up straight, giving himself enough space to breathe, and gazed at those seductive lips for a moment before he spoke.

"A proposal kiss."

Then he looked into Bo Xiyun's eyes.

"What do you say?"

Bo Xiyun was momentarily stunned, and after a brief pause, he nodded.

"Okay."

This condition was not too demanding. Although marriage would involve some personal assets, these could be specified in a prenuptial agreement. Moreover, given the current chaotic state of the Bo family and Wen Xiusen's prospects on the mainland, it was challenging to determine who would gain an advantage from this marriage.

However, there was still one question.

"What about the duration of the marriage..."

This was a crucial issue to consider, especially since Bo Xiyun's previous arrangement had only lasted for a limited three years.

In the silence that followed his question and under Wen Xiusen's attentive gaze, Bo Xiyun inexplicably found himself speaking softer and softer, as if he were losing his voice.

Until his voice faded entirely, there was a moment of silence between them, and then Wen Xiusen's voice gently spoke up.

"Afterward, we will discuss it in detail," Wen Xiusen said, and Bo Xiyun nodded.

Bo Xiyun considered for a moment and then asked, "Are there any other conditions?"

He wanted to know if Wen Xiusen had any additional requirements. However, after a brief pause, Wen Xiusen responded with just one sentence.

"There's also the proposal ceremony."

He continued from his earlier proposal kiss, describing it in detail, "Ninety-nine thousand roses, a neon Ferris wheel, and a perfectly timed countdown fireworks..."

(Tn: Thousand??? O_o)

Also 99 roses mean I will love you forever)

Bo Xiyun was left dumbfounded, quickly interrupting him, "No way!"

He had no idea that the usually reserved man could describe it so casually.

Bo Xiyun exclaimed, "Do you want to make headlines?!"

Even though Wen Xiusen didn't disclose personal information and rarely gave interviews, it didn't mean that no one paid attention to him. If he were to be recognized, it would undoubtedly attract a crowd of onlookers and become a chaotic scene.

Wen Xiusen's preparations were forced to halt, and he responded very softly, "Oh."

Bao Xiyun was left confused, "Huh?"

It seemed like Wen Xiusen was still disappointed. Could it be that he had actually envisioned all of this?

After Bo Xiyun rejected Wen Xiusen's proposal plan, there was a significant silence. When Bo Xiyun asked about any other conditions, Wen Xiusen simply shook his head to indicate there were none.

(Tn: I can imagine a puppy with downcast ears)

Bo Xiyun's second afternoon rest was not particularly short, and before long, the cruise ship docked at the shore. Later, they transferred to a plane to the capital city, Yan Cheng.

Throughout the journey, to prevent any further anomalies from Bo Xiyun, Wen Xiusen accompanied him the entire time. The use of the pheromones scent seemed to be quite effective, as Bo Xiyun didn't experience significant dizziness even during takeoff. He remained in relatively good condition throughout the journey.

Upon arrival in Yan Cheng, they went directly to the hospital for a detailed examination of Bo Xiyun. It was only after the medical tests indicated that the omega's condition was stable that Wen Xiusen temporarily stopped being by his side, focusing on his work-related matters.

Bo Xiyun, on the other hand, was kept under the watchful eye of his bodyguards at the hospital, resting and awaiting the results of the detailed examination. By this time, it was already evening, and although he had essentially slept through the day, the constant traveling had left him somewhat fatigued.

When the doctor called him in, Bo Xiyun was still in a brief daze after his short nap, listening to the doctor's analysis.

"Your condition today due to the pheromone deficiency isn't severe; it's just a minor issue, not a real pheromone disorder. It's similar to needing to replenish sugar levels after anemia. With a couple of days' rest and some supplementation of Mr. Wen's pheromone, you should recover fine."

Bo Xiyun fell silent for a moment, and in his groggy post-nap mind, a strange scene emerged, one where he was desperately trying to inhale from a bottle containing Wen Xiusen's scent.

After dispelling his concerns about today's events, the doctor brought up the most crucial matter.

"Your rank results are in," the doctor said calmly, adjusting his tortoiseshell glasses. "Mr. Bo, you are an S-class omega."

This doctor, not among the medical staff onboard the ship but a specialist physician Wen Xiusen had invited after arriving in Yan Cheng, was quite mature in age. The medical system in the inland region was different from that of Hong Kong, with the highest-standard public hospitals. This doctor had been brought in by Wen Xiusen to provide expert guidance. Although he saw a large number of patients every day, even he couldn't help but feel amazed.

It had been a very long time since he had encountered such a special case.

Despite the fact that young Mr. Bo's pheromone levels were not yet stable, there was no mistaking that he was an S-class omega with a strong effectiveness. Considering this, the doctor couldn't even imagine what it would be like when Bo Xiyun's glandular development matured and his pheromones reached normal concentrations.

Bo Xiyun stared at the "S-class" on the paper report for a moment, took a deep breath, and digested the news.

He had been mentally prepared for this outcome, so it didn't come as an especially bad surprise.

The doctor explained further, "This works out perfectly because as an S-class omega, you can also provide comfort to Mr. Wen, who is also S-class."

Bo Xiyun's curiosity was piqued. "But top-tier alphas can't find matching partners easily? I haven't tested my compatibility yet, so how can I be sure I can provide comfort to Wen Xiusen?"

The doctor patiently clarified, "Top-tier alphas do indeed need a 100% compatibility match to receive comfort. However, aside from that, top-tier omegas can also offer solace to them."

The doctor provided a more detailed professional explanation than Director Lin Shu had given earlier. "This is the ability of s-class omegas; they can provide comfort to almost any top-tier alpha."

Bo Xiyun simplified it and said, "Oh, so I'm like a universal donor."

The doctor responded, "It's not as simple as blood; the comfort between omegas and alphas affects many aspects, including heart rate, body temperature, emotions, and more."

In contrast to the oppression alphas could exert, omegas possessed the ability to influence others. The higher the tier of the omega, the stronger this influence became, allowing them to have a more significant soothing effect.

"Although S-class omegas can provide comfort, they are quite rare. Many top-tier alphas still have to wait for the person who is 100% compatible with them."

The doctor hesitated for a moment before continuing, "As for the competition for top-tier omegas, it hasn't completely ceased to exist."

He felt that this was something he needed to explain to Bo Xiyun.

"For this time's assessment of your tier, we will coordinate with our colleagues in Hong Kong to delay uploading the information to the registration system as much as possible, ensuring your privacy is protected."

After all, S-class omegas were exceedingly rare.

As the doctor spoke, his already gentle tone became even more soothing, and he kept a close eye on Bo Xiyun's emotions.

After all, once the results were out, Mr. Bo might transition from being a flamboyant young master to a coveted canary, someone who had to be cautious in everything. He might even face strict control and spend his life confined in an exquisite yet narrow golden cage.

What surprised the doctor was that Bo Xiyun didn't seem particularly disheartened. His response was quite different from what the doctor had anticipated.

He focused on a different aspect, "Competition? Why not let omegas have a harem?"

The doctor paused for a moment, clearing his throat before replying.

The doctor commented, "It seems that Mr. Bo's perspective is quite different from the common omega-alpha dynamic."

Bo Xiyun genuinely considered this and replied, "Wouldn't that mean multiple alphas could receive comfort?"

The doctor explained, "Top-tier alphas have a sense of territory."

Bo Xiyun remembered hearing this term from Director Lin Shu before and asked, "Regarding this territorial instinct, do top-tier alphas only accept their omega to be intimate with them?"

The doctor responded, "Partially. Alphas with a sense of territory also don't like their omega getting close to others."

Bo Xiyun chuckled and touched his chin, saying, "Oh, then they should consider some alpha etiquette classes."

The doctor smiled and was reassured by Bo Xiyun's current state. However, he cautioned, "Alphas have a stronger tendency for aggression, especially the S-class alphas."

Bo Xiyun pondered for a moment and replied, "I think Mr. Wen is doing quite well."

Just as the doctor was about to say more, his attention was drawn to a message that popped up on the computer screen beside him. He then turned to the computer and said, "Yes, that's correct."

Bo Xiyun, curious, asked, "Are you having a conversation with someone?"

He had just noticed that the doctor's computer screen had been on the whole time but hadn't expected that the doctor was actually having a conversation with someone else.

As the doctor nodded, there was suddenly some static from the speakers next to the computer. Then, a voice, wrapped in a faint electronic hum and sounding even colder and more mechanical, spoke in a low, deep tone.

"It's me."

Bo Xiyun couldn't help but be stunned. It was actually Wen Xiusen on the other end of the call. The man's one sentence completely shattered any lingering hope in Bo Xiyun's mind.

"The call has been on the entire time, in case your pheromone levels act up again, and I can come back immediately."

Although Wen Xiusen's voice didn't reveal any emotions, the implications behind his words were crystal clear.

In other words, Wen Xiusen had heard everything Bo Xiyun had just said, including those comments about alpha etiquette and having multiple alphas.

The doctor added, "When you came in earlier, I mentioned this to you, Mr. Wen didn't really trust the situation."

"..."

Bo Xiyun was taken aback; he had just woken up when he was called in, so he was still groggy and hadn't heard the doctor's earlier explanation clearly.

"Haha," the young master chuckled nervously as he greeted Wen Xiusen on the call, "Um, thank you for your efforts..."

Although these were indeed Bo Xiyun's genuine thoughts, hearing them himself and realizing that his earlier imaginings of S-level alphas as potential predators didn't apply to Wen Xiusen made him feel a bit awkward.

However, he assumed that Mr. Wen wouldn't pay much attention to these minor details...

Just as he was thinking this, he heard Wen Xiusen's voice on the call.

"I'm preparing the wedding procedures."

Wen Xiusen's tone was somewhat cold and not at all as aggressive as Bo Xiyun had imagined when discussing S-level alphas. Instead, he sounded more like a brooding, dangerous character, trying to scare little kids.

He then directly asked the doctor, "For an S-level omega, is it necessary to undergo complete marking before marriage?"
