Mana is the source of all power in the Universe and is omnipresent just like the System. Mana is passively and actively absorbed by all beings in the Universe and is required to live: if one is shut off from Mana for too long, they will perish. Mana is pliable and can be shifted in many different ways, into many different forms. To advance one's Rank, you must absorb a certain amount of Mana.
• Elemental: The most common usage of Mana, it takes the form of the Elements. Spirits naturally produce Elemental mana and have a larger reserve of it than other Races. All Races can use Elemental Mana by default.
• Nether: Used by Devils, Demons and Vampires, Nether is destructive and corruptive by nature. It corrodes other types of Mana and converts it into Nether, though Elemental Mana can be manually kept the same.
• Aether: Aether is the purest form of Mana and the closest to the original. Aether is highly valuable in the Universe, as it is incredibly rare and compatible with all Races. Absorbing Aether allows you to increase your Rank much faster. Aether can be turned into other types of Mana very easily though, so great care must be taken when utilising it.
• Ether: Used by Angels, and other Holy Races, Ether is the opposite of Nether and directly neutralises it upon contact. Ether dissolves most other forms of Mana as well, and is regarded as the most potent of Mana's forms.
• Divinity: Mana that has been processed by Gods or other Divine Beings and converted. Divinity is a neutral Mana type and can assume other forms based on what Law the God has comprehended or governs. Divinity affects all Races and Mana types equally.
• Prana: A more rare type of Mana that enables one access to more complex Laws than Elemental Mana. Healing, Space and Time are applicants of Prana alongside Gravity, Life and Death. Prana is very hard to dispel, even for Ether and Nether.
