The snapper, which took a lot of energy, was barely a problem with all the food around me.
Slowly, the snapper and the spider started to dissipate as my prey turned into light and was absorbed.
"Ooh, these spiders are always pretty nourishing…"
After doing this so many times, there was an almost instinctive knowledge, awareness within me about how the soul would be absorbed.
"Tsk…" I clicked my tongue as I understood what ability I had received.
"Not again… just give me poison resistance…"
I had been observing this cave system for a while. Alongside stronger creatures, I also ran into more number of creatures.
This strange poison-resisting steel spider was one of them. And their natural enemies were lava snakes.
Lava snakes did not just spew out lava, but serious poison gases. The steel spiders had a poison resistance though, which led them to become a worthy foe.
I wanted to spew lava.
Even poison would do.
