"Hahaha... hahahaha! HAHAHAHA!"
The villain's derisive laughter filled the air.
The fate of Polaris rode on a single gamble.
And...
"No."
Came the verdict.
Lewis's heart sank to the ground as Vincent dropped the man in his hands. Like an elephant trampling on an ant, Vincent placed his foot on Philip's head.
"Why would I? I can just kill you and take it by force."
"You wouldn't, sir," said Lewis. "If that was the case, you would have already done it."
Vincent pressed harder on Philip's head.
"What reason would I have to delay it?" Vincent asked. He reached into his pockets and pulled out a gun.
"This? You think you have me surrounded? That I would lose, against your weapons?"
Lewis gulped.
"No. It is because you want to play with us, use us."
Vincent's eyes sparkled yet again. It was to a degree that they never had.
Every single one of Lewis' cards was to be placed in front.
