Chapter 66 - Time Passes By

Relafan and Chloe's eyes met.

Chloe froze in her place. She wouldn't have thought twice about someone seeing her train, she was the leader of this place, but it seemed Relafan was different.

Without a word, Relafan tapped away at the inventory and brought out his sword.

Chloe flinched. But her gaze changed when she noticed that Relafan did not look at her, but only at her sword.

He stopped a few paces away and raised his sword, pointing its tap at her.

Chloe was slightly confused, but her eyes hardened. With a determined gaze, she raised her blade too.

Was this the conversation of people who lived by the blade?

There was o need for words, no exchange of ideas. Their swords were all they needed to convey their emotions to each other.

'I hate you yet I will teach you.'

'I am scared of you yet I will learn from you.'
