Chloe bowed her head in embarrassment as she walked with Leon by her side.
She looked up at him to sneak a peak but blushed hard when she caught him staring at her.
Leon could only smile and shake his head at this girl's adorable expression.
"Thank you for escorting me to my quarter Prince Regaleon. I will be taking my leave now." She said with her head still bowed down as she walked away.
Regaleon's smirk died down as he felt several presences behind him.
Turning around, he met the faces of four palace guards with terrified expressions on their faces.
"Y–your highness, King Daniel has requested your presence in his office."
"What does he want?" Regaleon pinched his eyebrows with obvious irritation etched on his face.
"We weren't given such information your majesty."
Ignoring the guards, Regaleon walked towards the king's office.
"Yes, King Daniel? you called me?"
Regaleon said as he walked into the office and sat lazily.
"Regaleon, I would like to talk to you about the terms and conditions concerning your marriage with my daughter." He said cutting to the point.
"What about it?" Regaleon said lazily,
showing his obvious lack of interest in the ongoing conversation.
"I don't want you to touch Chloe unless she gives you the permission to."
"Sure." He smiled coldly and walked away without asking for permission whatsoever.
"Are you really going to give your daughter of to that merciless killer?" The royal general who had been quietly observing the situation, calmly said.
"I don't have a choice Evans. It's either I leave her with someone who can protect her or I lose my daughter forever to that bloody tyrant." Daniel said worriedly.
"And besides the fact that he's a tyrant, I feel he's the only one who can protect Chloe." He added.
"Very well your highness." Evans bowed.

10 minutes earlier.
"What the heck?....who let you both in?"
Chloe yelled when she met Gina and Sophie in her room.
"It turns out that Gina has some inner talent with locks." Sophie laughed. "So..... you wanna tell us about Mr Crown Prince?"
"Shut it." Chloe slumped on her bed and covered her face with a pillow.
"Don't you like him?"Gina asked.
"Of course I don't... how do you expect me to fall in love with someone I just met?.... My life's over." she frowned with teary eyes.
"I'm not ready for anything... I'm not ready to leave home, I'm not ready to be with a man who I'm not even sure had feelings for me."
"It's okay sweetheart.... you'll learn to love him." Sophie hugged Chloe.
"But what if I don't?....I just can't help but shake the feeling that it's all my fault.....We wouldn't even be in this situation if I had obeyed and married that goddamn king."
"It's not your fault Sophie. Nobody blames you. If I was you I would have done the same thing." Gina said.
"Nooooo. you would have done worse." Sophie smirked and they all laughed." I know it's gonna be hard to cope with getting married to someone you don't love but don't for one second, think all this is your fault. Anyone would have done what you did if they were in your shoes."
"Thanks guys. I love you." Chloe said with teary eyes."
"Alright enough with the mushy talk.." Sophie said as she cleaned her teary eyes.
"So... Prince Regaleon carried you here huh?" Gina asked with a smirk.
"Shut it." Chloe frowned and Gina burst onto a laugh."why are you laughing.... father's going to get you married to some prince too." Chloe smirked.
"I'll just run away too.....to Africa this time." Gina shrugged and while Sophie's jaw dropped, Chloe didn't even flinch. She knew Gina to be the daredevil in the family.
"So..... What're you guys doing here?" Chloe asked.
"Sleepoverrrr." Sophie said and they laughed.
