Lancelot was sitting on a smooth sofa, the leather surface clinging to his skin as he slid his hand across the arm, enjoying how cool and comfy it felt.
"Maria, come sit here." His voice reverberated in the air, the scent of lemon and vanilla filling the air from the lovely flowers in the centre of the room, arranged in a black clay pot on the dark red wooden table.
"Mm..." Maria's face matched the table as she skipped over, sitting beside him, almost too shy to look at his face directly, feeling that he had become different only a day apart...
"What's the matter?" The deep tone tickled her ear, like silk strands caressing her body to make her tremble.
